The food was so good and so much honestly I couldn’t even finish it. The staffs was nice and speak english really good. But I feel like it will be nicer if the menu have Vietnamese too. Because this restaurant is in Vietnam, right ? 🙂
Not a good experience, waited more than an hour for food, asking multiple times. Other people who came much later getting served first. Food was average, but our appetite was already ruined.

At the moment, we are facing staffing challenges due to the current tourism surge in Da Nang, with many businesses opening and a limited workforce available. However, this is not an excuse, it’s something we are actively working to improve.
We are also in the process of implementing a QR ordering system to help streamline service and reduce wait times in the near future.

What a great find. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. We had the chicken chicken suey with brown rice. We also added the wanton soup and I had the veggie spring roll and my husband had the chicken egg roll. All the dishes were very flavourful.
Good ambient to have dinner. They have like 5 types of chopsticks to choose.
Spicy chicken is really good.
I had Mayflower several times while in Da Nang. Excellent western style Chinese food. Very good portions and good flavor.
This place was amazing! We had two starters and two mains around dinner time and both the food and service was 10/10. The salt&pepper chips were on the spicy side but I presume that’s because the uk don’t do spice as well 😂. The back story to this place is what made it for me,a great story with great food! Thank you :)

Every meal has been perfect!..hot,delicious,packed with flavor and prepared with love.
I can't say enough good things about it..we've tried many dishes..the wonton soup is out of this world and the Beijing sweet and sour chicken is my absolute favorite.
Everything is delicious...the service is quick,the staff are warm and welcoming.
Dont miss the opportunity to visit this incredible restaurant..you won't regret it.

Food is more than sustenance. It's family and nostalgia and love and what I love about this restaurant is how it takes me back to being a kid, going out with your parents to eat the only Chinese food that you knew. You grow older, your tastes become "refined", you're told that this isn't "real Chinese food", that it's not "authentic" like there is some committee making decisions about who is allowed into the Chinese food club.
You grow wiser and realize that some old familiar things which you dismissed in your quest for novelty are truly great and deserve another try. In revisiting this cuisine with a more experienced palate and a tongue that has travelled the world, I can honestly say that this is the best food of this particular style that I've ever eaten in my life. Everything is prepared to perfection with fresh ingredients and the flavors pop off the plates.
It's not just nostalgia talking. I feel that these recipes are elevated beyond the simple take-out of my youth while still retaining all the essential characteristics of the dishes. I'll give a simple and easy to overlook example; the fortune cookie at the end, a tiny detail without which the meal would feel incomplete. I used to take the fortune and leave the cookies, finding them dry and flavorless. Mayflower's cookie is a delicious twist using a coconut flavored dough which practically melts in your mouth. A perfect ending. Ironically it's possible that the cookie is the only thing they don't actually make themselves 🤣 but for this review it doesn't really matter. Either way Mayflower is a 10/10 and I will definitely be back.

I grew up as that kid running around a small Chinese restaurant, doing homework on worn-down tables while my parents worked in the back. That experience stuck with me. Chinese food back then wasn’t always perfect, but it was affordable, generous, and fed a lot of hardworking families who had to stretch every dollar.
That’s exactly what I wanted to bring back, that feeling, but elevated. Better ingredients, better execution, while still keeping the flavors and experience people grew up loving. And you really captured that.

Authentic American Chinese food..menu a little limited but good and value for money

Great “America Chinese” place. Had an Irish spice bag and a general tso’s chicken. Both were fantastic and really enjoyed it after tons of Vietnamese food!
As an American sometime you just crave American Chinese and this place didn’t disappoint. It’s spot on, the only thing is that it’s pretty pricy for the size of the order but that wouldn’t stop me from coming again. I got the sesame chicken with chow mien for 180k and the flavor was very good!
The Black Bean Pepper Steak, which is one of the restaurant’s most highly recommended dishes, was unfortunately a major letdown.
The meat portion was noticeably skimpy compared to what I have come to expect at similar restaurants, and that alone was disappointing.
But more importantly, the dish was overwhelmingly salty. I say that as someone who genuinely prefers salty flavour.
That said, the chicken wontons and the hot and sour soup, both included in the combo, were completely flavourless. Tasteless across the board, nothing that made you want to take a second bite.
Given how highly rated this place is, I came in with some expectations. This ranks as one of the more disappointing dining experiences I have had in this city, and I have eaten around quite a bit here.
We had an amazing dinner here. Possibly the best Chinese we have ever had and that is a very bold statement for us to make. Everything was fresh. The staff were so lovely and even allowed us to take away what we couldn’t eat. Will be returning when I am next in the area.
