I was looking forward to this place being a spot that we would frequent, however, after 3 different visits I do not think we will be back. First visit was great, 5 stars great! We had the ginger broccoli dish with chicken and the sesame chicken - both of these dishes were good. Great white rice, and the pear punch juice was delicious! The cream cheese wonton and wonton soup were just okay and decided we wouldn’t get the meal next time.
Second visit we both tried the Szechuan dish with chicken and I asked for mine to not be spicy at all but have the spicy sauce on the side to add if I wanted and my husband asked for his to be less spicy. His was so spicy that we ended up switching plates and he ate mine which was not spicy at all. I tried the spicy sauce and just the tip of the spoon was very spicy so I didn’t add any to my plate.
Third time I ordered the UK Curry with chicken and less spicy and my husband had the garlic green beans. The curry was way too spicy, spicier than the Szechuan the visit before, I didn’t even eat it. The garlic green beans has a description of a sweet soy sauce glaze but there was no sweetness at all, it just tasted like soy sauce and garlic. Tried the steamed beef dumplings as well, they were not very warm and had a lot of chewy pieces. We ordered the pear punch and the dragonfruit juice but they were very thick this time and were served with spoons.
Unfortunately, having 2/3 bad food experiences we probably will not go back for another try.
