My experience with Accuvision LASIK was nothing short of extraordinary. The whole staff, notably Teri and Tami, were incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Dr. Rauch and Dr. Hammonds were both great and took the time to explain the procedure at length and answer all questions. I would highly recommend anyone considering corrective eye surgery visit Accuvision!
Dr. Hammonds and Dr. Rauch were absolutely amazing. During my 2 hour evaluation the staff explained everything in detail. The most friendliest staff. The process did not take long and by the next day i could see 10x better than before with out glasses/contacts. I can’t wait till im healed in 3 months. I highly recommend Accuvision LASIK.

Back in 2018, I had a consultation at a different place in Michigan, and they didn’t explain anything clearly. I left with so many questions and concerns that I got scared and delayed the procedure for years. This time was completely different. Terri gave me a tour of the facility, explained how everything would go, and shared the doctors experience in Lasik, which really put me at ease. Before leaving, Dr. Rauch told me exactly what to expect and reassured me that the procedure itself takes less than a minute; something I had no idea about! That made me feel so much better.
On the day of surgery, I was still nervous, but the team was more than patient with me. The entire process took less than 10 minutes (most of that was me calming down), and Dr. Hammonds worked wonders! My vision is now almost 20/25, and I keep singing, “I can see clearly now the rain is gone.” Immediately after sitting up, I could see better than I had in years; it was so crisp and clear. I went from mistaking robes on my door for people and carpet cleaners for pets to near-perfect vision.
I would absolutely recommend AccuVision LASIK Center to anyone considering vision correction. They truly care about their patients and make the experience as smooth and reassuring as possible.
I had my Lasik procedure a few days ago and I feel like a million dollars! It's all thanks to the team at Accuvision Lasik-- they are the best of the best. Everyone is so kind, knowledgeable, personable, and easy to talk to. They covered every single detail and topic, answered all my questions, gave clear instructions, and really put me at ease with the whole procedure. Everything was so smooth and organized!
Before going there, I didn't know much about how the procedure actually worked. I was intimidated, because, I mean, eyes are important! But the team there makes the information accessible and easy to digest-- it's clear that they care a lot about what they do and how their patients feel. Total pros!! I felt well-covered the whole time. Would recommend them a thousand times over.
I had the most infuriating experience here on Friday. My appointment time was 11:15 I arrived at 10:45 and was told I was too early to check in and take a seat. In the entire facility there was not a seat people were standing and waiting outside. After waiting over an hour I was called I to a room to be told "Dr. Wise is running at least two hours behind, you are patient 13 in line". I was told there were two doctors there and it was not possible that all those patients were going to be seen in a timely manner. Why are multiple patients booked for the same time??? I am a diabetic and could not have sat there for three hours with my sugar dropping and I was not prepared since I should have been seen and released within an hour or so. I informed the front that I was not waiting and this was totally unacceptable. Two doctors could not have treated the amount of patients waiting. I am writing a complaint letter to Medicare and the Department of Banking and Insurance because it is not okay to treat patients like this. I will have my records transferred to another office that has some regard for their patients. This office DOES NOT perform anything other than exams; there would not be a delay like a surgical facility. I am furious! If you're looking for the best place to get LASIK, then stop looking, you've found it. I was skeptical, I was filled with questions, I was cautious due to horror stories and side affects, and throughout the process I was looking for reasons to have myself eliminated from candidacy. You only get one set of eyes, and Accuvision treats them like they're theirs. They won't continue work if your eyes develop complications, and they eliminate you from candidacy altogether if they don't think you will get good results for any litany of reasons. That's what you want! They want the best outcomes for you as much as you do. The price is a little higher than other places nearby, but you're getting the aftercare appointments included in the fee as long as your eye doctor is one of their partners. They also do a low volume of surgeries here. You'll get an experienced surgeon that isn't overworked, tired, or rushing. There were only 3 other people getting LASIK the day I got mine done, and they said that was about the max. The surgery only lasted about 10-12 minutes, but the appointments are hours of checkups, tests, questions, information, and care. I got my LASIK done about two weeks ago now, and I genuinely can't recommend this place enough. Spend the little extra to get the best, most premium surgery with the best outcomes possible. My eyesight was horrible, and I've been wearing glasses/contacts for almost 30 years. I can't describe the feeling of waking up and being able to see clearly across a room after not even being able to see my feet from the time I could form memories. Stop thinking about it and come here, ask questions, then do it.

Amazing LASIK experience! Dr. Hammond, Dr. Rauch, Terri, and Tami made sure I was comfortable and walked me through the process every step of the way. I was seeing at a 20/15 level the very next day. I would absolutely recommend this team to anyone thinking about corrective vision.

Had a great experience here. The doctors and staff were great, very informative and helpful I felt prepared and I understood what I was getting myself into. Had my lasik procedure yesterday and I am already feeling great today and seeing so much better.

If I could give a million stars, I would! After seeing 3 other doctors for vision correction surgery, I chose Accuvision because of the connections I made with the staff. I was days away from getting LASIK before having my consultation with Accuvision and finding out why I was a much better candidate for PRK. Everyone there is the nicest person you'll ever meet. Dr. Rauch especially took so much time explaining every step of different surgeries I was eligible for. Tami and Terri answer any question you have and make sure you feel the most comfortable. My consultation took about 3 hours split between two different days and it was so worth the amount of time I spent. They went above and beyond, giving me all their undivided attention. I ended up having the PRK procedure and can very excitedly say that I can now see 20/20 without contacts or glasses! Dr. Hammond was great at explaining the process on surgery day and going through each step while it was happening. On the day of my procedure, they even scheduled my husband for a surgery day and started on his consultation. I think I'm going to make them my primary eye care doctor too just so I can go back to see them!

From the front desk to the surgeon and everybody in between, I have had an absolutely wonderful experience. They are kind, compassionate, and made me feel at ease during an experience that could have felt very stressful. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else and am so happy I didn't 10/10 recommend.
