Dropped in for a Gi class while on a business trip and had a great experience. Actually did 2 classes: fundamentals and advanced (I am a blue belt… felt a bitlike newbie in advanced with only white belt and me. The rest were purple and up, but my partner, brown, was very supportive) The gym was clean, well-organized, and welcoming to visitors. The coach ran a structured class with solid technical details. Training partners were respectful, skilled, and supportive—perfect mix of intensity and safety. Definitely a spot I’d return to if I’m back in the area.

I'm a blue belt. Dropped in for a Gi class while on a business trip and had a great experience. Actually, I did two classes fundamentals and advanced one. And the latter, I felt a bit like a newbie with only me and another white belt. The rest were purple and up. However, my brown belt partner was very supportive. The gym was clean, well-organized, and welcoming to visitors. The coach ran a structured class with solid technical details. Training partners were respectful, skilled, and supportive--perfect mix of intensity and safety. Definitely a spot I'd return to if I'm back in the area.

I recently attended a Nogi Jiu-Jitsu class at Evolution MMA Gym, and I had a great experience. The team, especially Kevin, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The class was well-structured, and the instruction was top-notch.

I have been at Evolution MMA roughly for about a year and I absolutely love the coaches and atmosphere. They really do put an emphasis on caring for your wellbeing, making training fun and encouraging. I mostly did the boxing sessions and absolutely appreciated coach Dean and TJ, They are really good teachers and even greater humans. Highly recommend this place!!!

I've been attending regular Tuesday/Thursday advanced BJJ classes for a little over a year and a half. Classes are typically run by 2-3 black belts, though it's not uncommon to have additional visiting instructors. Typical class attendance is 10-20 students of various levels. Classes are structured well, instruction is scaffolded so that you're usually building off techniques introduced the previous classes. Come ready for a workout--from warm-ups all the way through sparring at the end, expect to be challenged physically. I've experienced nothing but positivity and support from instructors and senior members, many of whom take special care to provide additional instruction to make me a more effective grappler. There is strong camaraderie among members and a strong team atmosphere. I'm proud to be a member of the team.
