Had my loft insulation increased to 300mm and boarded( with the evergreen specialist raised boards) which don't squash the insulation. David was very informative from the beginning and always answered any questions/ queries I had promptly on the same day. His team worked solidly from 8 to 4 and we're very friendly and professional in their job. They even moved the loft light switch to a more accessable place without charging. Everywhere was left clean and tidy. My house seems much warmer now. I would not hesitate to recommend evergreen insulations.
From our initial enquiry to completion of the work I was impressed by the professionalism of Evergreen. Everything was explained beforehand and further queries were responded to promptly. The 2 guys who did the work were courteous and very hardworking. When they left you wouldn’t have known they’d been.
Would I recommend them - you bet I would, every time!

Evergreen Insulation did a great job removing all the failed urea formaldehyde foam from my entire property. The two guys who came to do the work were really hardworking, polite, and respectful of my home. David the owner was also excellent and true to his word and quote. There was a bit of mess and the machinery was noisy but that was totally expected with this type of job. I’m really happy with the service, and they’ll be my first choice for renewing the cavity wall insulation with modern materials once my extensions are built. Definitely recommend!

Nothing was too much trouble for David and his team who were friendly, professional, efficient and knowledgeable. We had our loft insulated and boarded (with Evergreen's specialist raised boards which don't squash the insulation), plus the necessary ventilation, including especially adapted roof tiles - all for a very reasonable price. We were really happy with the work and could notice straight away how much warmer our home felt. It's a bonus to have more storage space too. We can't fault David who spent time troubleshooting a few areas and always answered messages promptly.
What a great company to deal with
What a great experience dealing with David at Evergreen. Right from the start came up with a plan to insulate and board our loft, the guys that attended lovely, polite and went over and above. I took a bit of a chance and went on reviews now I understand why Evergreen is 4.9 / 5 although I think they are being sold short! Thanks David and team for a great job ☺️
Loft and cavity wall insulation carried out. David was very helpful and gave me a really good quote..
My property is now so much warmer through out and the temperature much more consistent. Feels like my roof has a big woolly hat on and the walls have a long scarf wrapped round them!.. Money very well spent. Thank you David and team, great job!
Would definitely recommend Evergreen..
Following David’s visit to survey the loft installation which had been left in a bit of a state following various tradesmen doing work up there. This morning Josh and Michael arrived to overhaul and rectify the existing insulation and add new material as necessary. They have made a superb job and I will have no hesitation in recommending the firm for the future. It was a pleasure dealing with a very professional organisation.

Can't fault them. Loft re-insulated and part boarded before Christmas, cavity wall insulation topped up (by a lot!) and roof felt re-fixed this week. David responded to all my messages promptly. Michael and his co-worker arrived on time, were polite, efficient and gave good advice (re necessary cavity wall insulation). Left everywhere tidy. Would highly recommend.
David at Evergreen really went out of his way to help us out. After so many contractors/surveyors ignoring our enquiries, David replied promptly despite it being only a small job.
He was able to fit us in quickly despite us being all the way in Cambridge. He was both thorough and explained things well, and I really felt he understood my concerns! Will definitely contact again if we have any other jobs.
I contacted David because of my worries about suspected damp issues and patches on walls in my hallway. David had years previously installed insulation in the loft and I'd been very happy with the work. David was really knowledgeable and very helpful when he visited to investigate the problems He has really put my mind at rest about some of the issues and left me with clear instructions as to what actions to take next. I highly recommend his previous work and think he is a totally genuine and kind chap, and even refused to accept payment for his visit.
The results speak for themselves.
We bought our house in 2022, being told by the RICS surveyor we had cavity wall insulation. In fact we had none, as verified by borescope.
Called Dave and a very short, cheerful survey later we had a full cavity wall and loft insulation + boarding date booked.
Dave and his team were conscientious, kind and mindful that both my partner and I were working throughout the installation process. I would recommend their installation services without hesitation.
But how good is the product?
Please take a look at the attached graph showing the gas usage data for 2024. Thermostat set at 19 degrees throughout. With the recent very cold weather out of the way, I'm comfortable in saying the statistics match the reality. The insulation installed has halved our gas usage.
Using the curve and last year's temperatures, and assuming 2025 is similar to 2024, we should now consume just over 9,800 kWh. This would cost £701, saving £586 per year with a payback period of 8.7 years. Using seasonal averages, our consumption prediction changes to 11,485kWh costing £799, which is a saving of £488 and a payback period of 10.5 years.
This is a stark improvement on 2023, where in the same conditions we consumed 19,907 kWh. Charged at today's rates, that would cost nearly £1300 per year (VAT and standing charge included).
With a worst-case scenario payback period just under 11 years at these rates of savings, this makes the product just as good as the installation service.
Thank you Dave and team.
Edited on Dec 31st 2024 to include the full year's data and update the 2025 gas usage predictions.
