Mina is the sweetest! I go to her for facials and waxing and she always makes me feel so comfortable. Her facials leave my skin glowing and calm, and she’s super gentle but thorough with waxing. The space is clean and relaxing, and she has such a warm, kind energy that you instantly feel at ease. I always leave feeling taken care of.
Terrible Experience – Rude, Unprofessional, and Manipulative Pricing
I visited "Eve n Me Parlour" today for my first waxing session, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience.
From the start, Mina(salon owner) seemed agitated. I arrived a bit late since it was my first time finding the salon on my own, but I immediately offered to compensate by asking her to simply provide me with my original 70-minute time slot (which was still available). However, she refused, insisting she didn’t want to miss a chance to earn the amount for which the slot was booked—which is fine, I understand business priorities.
However, what happened next was unacceptable. After I was already lying down on the waxing bench, she suddenly raised the price by 50 CZK and demanded, "Tell me if you want the service or not." No prior warning, no explanation—just a last-minute price hike in the middle of the service.
When I hesitated, she condescendingly told me I should be "grateful" her prices were cheaper than other salons in Prague—as if I had any say in setting her prices! Her tone was aggressive and dismissive, making me feel humiliated and on the verge of tears. She showed zero concern for how her behavior affected me as a customer.
While 50 CZK isn’t a huge amount, the lack of transparency, respect, and basic professionalism was shocking. A salon should make clients feel comfortable, not cornered and disrespected.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money—and your dignity—and go somewhere that values customers.
