Etowah has helped me a lot honestly. Casey and Shane went to bat for me back to back when I was constantly messing up. They had faith in me when I dint have faith in my self. My therapist Tamia helped me tremendously with my past trauma and current things going on. Michelle ever since her first day she brought light into Etowah. She’s always there to calm things down when things get too heated or when things are misinterpreted. Thankyou to Robert and Tony for being there for me when I needed someone after hours. I can’t thank Etowah Recovery Center enough for the incredible support and care they’ve provided. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and truly cared for. I came in without a clue about what AFTER CARE meant, but thanks to Shane, Jesse, Tamia, Patrick, Michelle, and everyone else at the center, I now have a deep understanding of how vital it is for long-term recovery.

This place was great! All of the staff was phenomenal. Coming in being in the mindset of an addict you tend to think these people only care for your money but with etowah this is definitely not the case. From the owners down to the techs I never felt anything but safe and understood.

I dont even know where to begin. Theres not really a review or way i could express the impact this place has had on my life and walk away feeling like i got my point across. I am someone that has had time in recovery, relapsed countless times, worked in recovery centers and been to so many places its somewhat ridiculous. I don't say this as a client that is just happy he graduated but as someone who understands how deadly and insane life becomes in addiction and mental health for both me and anyone near me. Etowah stands out as the most unique place. There are SO many centers to choose from these days its hard to know whats the right choice. I had an experience here ive been looking for for 20 years. The staff is INCREDIBLE, Shane gave me a place to have this experience and did everything he said he would before i came through the doors. The place is operated by people who had credibilty that i needed to not just feel safe, but completely understood. I will forever reccomend this to anyone i know or can help because i want others to have the same experience i did so they too can understand what i meant at the begining of this review.

What an experience!
Etowah Recovery saved my Mental Health and my Life! I came into the php/IOP program broken and bound to fail, and in my last 5 months here my journey has entailed this: A great team/staff that is attentive to every need, a detailed treatment plan to keep my goals on track, outstanding groups that have taught me many coping skills and other ways to life that can be fun and fulfilling. That is just the tip of the iceberg that Etowah has to offer! I have been to many programs and I can confidently say that there was no way for myself to get clean and sober without this place. Etowah is absolutely amazing. I’ve been skeptical of a few treatment places before, and have had some bad experiences. I am glad to say coming to Etowah was the best decision I could’ve ever made. Etowah Recovery Center SAVED our Son’s Life! I had no idea how bad he was & what he was putting in his body. I reached out to Shane… after a family intervention our Son agreed to speak with Shane. He WAS NOT in agreement at first, after his private conversation with Shane he finally agreed. By that very night he began his detox program. Then moved to Etowah for rehab. Proud to say I am an alumni of this program. I came in for a 30 day stay, through learning about myself in various groups and therapy I chose to stay for 90 days. I cannot express the gratitude I have for the owner Shane and all the staff members. They genuinely care about your well being and that doesn’t stop when you walk out of the building. They are constantly reaching out to encourage you to grow and succeed in life outside of the treatment center. It was a very personal and compassionate experience that saved my life. They also partner with Energy works Atlanta that has a holistic approach with so many valuable assets that I use everyday. I still come by to say hey and check in with everyone, it’s like a family. I recently had around a 2 month stay at Etowah and let me tell you there is no other group of staff that cares more about recovery than these guys, especially Shane (The Director) they have taught me so many valuable life long lessons that are ingrained in my brain, and are always willing to go the extra mile for us addicts alike. I wouldn't have made a treatment better myself and they even provide transportation something I never would have thought possible, It was a very emotional journey and they made it well worth my time.
