Thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving at Nokomis Beach. The home was extremely comfortable and its environment relaxing, peaceful, and quiet. The proximity to the beach was quite convenient, and the backyard bbq & patio was also a very enjoyable outdoor experience. Ty was very informative and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Ty’s place was an excellent getaway for my vacation. Nokomis is an easy going town and everything moves at a slower pace. The home was equipped with all the essentials that made the stay a lot easier. The main reason I booked this house was because of the close vicinity to the beach which was a short walk away. Ty provided beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, buckets, shovels and a wagon so you can easily transport everything to the beach. This house would be excellent for a couples getaway. Also a family with small children would see a benefit with this home as the bedrooms are connected to one other. Overall the communication between Ty was excellent and the stay was great. I would definitely book again with Ty.

Good stay -- house was just the right size, clean and cozy. Location is excellent, 5 minute drive to the beach. You have a view of a canal from the street and the backyard, with a view of the sky after sunset over the trees and water. The property is probably typical for the area and that is a good thing -- no frills, clean, and well maintained inside and outside, with a private patio. Everything you need, not much that you don't. Having some beach gear in the garage, plus a simple cooler, is such a simple thing to do which did add value. Would recommend, and would stay there again.

We had a family vacation with our two teenagers, and this was the best stay ever. Everything exceeded our expectations. Just a 5-minute walk to Nokomis Beach; very quiet and the perfect spot for sunrise meditation and sunsets. The amenities were great for outdoor activities and coffee lovers, with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The local recommendations, especially the restaurants, were all excellent! The location was also perfect for exploring nearby beaches like Venice, Manasota, and Crescent.

Ty’s place had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away! The location was amazing. We walked to breakfast and the beach the first morning we were there. We were also really close to the legacy trail so we rode bikes one day! We also were amazed at how quiet Ty’s place was and also the beds were very comfortable which is a huge plus when you are away from home! We hope to be back again soon!

Very clean and spacious layout despite the smaller square footage. Had everything you might need. We will definitely book this location again when we’re in Venice.If I had to think of anything to improve it even more it would be to extend the check out time to 11:00 a clean or paint the front door for the first impression. The inside of the house was very clean, organized and well decorated.

Very adorable home with lots of beach accessories included. Wish we could’ve stayed more than one night. Just a heads up that the second bedroom is located THROUGH the first bedroom and on the way to the garage. If you’re traveling with a second couple, might pose a privacy problem. We were not, so it wasn’t an issue.

I travel to this area frequently and usually stay at a hotel or other Airbnb‘s. This was by far the best option. The home was very well kept, nicely decorated, and the accessories were quality. I usually experience cheaper items being used in short-term rental properties, but in this case, all of the kitchen, accessories and appliances were high-end. Ty was quick to respond to any concerns or questions. The home was easy to access and is a great location for long walks, including two of the nearby parks. The Pickleball courts are a few blocks away if you are a Pickelball fanatic. All of the conveniences for shopping and restaurants are a few blocks away. This property will be my number one go to when visiting this area. Thank you so much for your hospitality Ty.

What a perfect getaway ! The cottage was everything and more! The place was pristine with tons of amenities! Plenty of extra linen, beach chairs, beach wagon, beach towels and more. Even though you have homes beside you the back yard and patio are very private. You feel like you are in your own little world! Ty was very accommodating allowing us to check in an hour early and responded to any messages I sent promptly. 5 stars from start to finish ! Can’t wait to come back !!!!
