It was presented as a Kobido facial massage, but in reality it was just a gentle stroking with a lot of rollers. There was no deep muscle work, no lifting techniques, no rhythm or intensity that Kobido is known for. If you are looking for an authentic Kobido treatment, this is not it.

After reading your review, I spoke with Anissa, the practitioner who performed your Kobido treatment, in order to better understand what may have happened during your appointment.
She explained that she asked you several questions before the treatment and that you mentioned experiencing tension around the masseter muscles as well as some sensitivity around the nose following a recent sinus infection.
Based on this information, she believed it would be helpful to adapt the Kobido treatment to your needs that day and incorporated some techniques from the Miracle Face by Renata França, which are particularly effective for relieving congestion and helping with sinus-related discomfort.
It seems there may have been a misunderstanding regarding your expectations, and that you were hoping for a more traditional Kobido facial massage, one that is primarily lifting and plumping, rather than a more decongesting and therapeutic approach.
I am truly sorry about this misunderstanding.
Anissa is fully trained in Kobido techniques and would absolutely have been able to provide the treatment you were expecting.
