We planned an Indian-British fusion wedding in Crete which had four events spread over three days. We loved Niki’s bubbly and calm personality from the beginning and really enjoyed getting to know her and also meeting her in Crete before the wedding. Niki’s local connections and recommendations came in really handy during the planning process and made a fantastic impression amongst all our guests as all vendors were warm and very skilled! At times it felt that there were long periods of time between our communication due to the wedding season and some things did get confused over email , however if anything urgent was needed , Niki was always available via text or phone. As the wedding neared, we did have constant communication. We had the best three days and the support from Niki and her team was invaluable. I will never forget feeling frazzled with my hair a mess as I tried to do it by myself for the first event and Stella and Polina coming in calmly and curling my hair for me whilst keeping my spirits up! They are professionals and they will give you a wedding to remember. We really treasure the moments we had with this team and look forward to staying in touch❤️ we highly recommended NM Events if you’re planning your wedding in Crete!

Niki and the NM Events team did an incredible job bringing our dream wedding to life. Despite planning from Australia, communication via calls and emails was effective. Niki’s local expertise and vendor coordination were invaluable. While there were some delays in communication during peak wedding season, this was resolved with a clear response timeline. Overall, the day was perfect - every detail was just as we had imagined, the venue was decorated beautifully and we didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day as Niki’s team took care of everything. We’re deeply grateful for Niki’s support, joyful enthusiasm and professionalism.

My husband and I got married in Chania, Crete two weeks ago and it was the most amazing three days! Niki helped us with everything providing incredible suggestions and guidance! She helped plan everything across all three days which included a family meal in the old town on the Friday for 70 people, booking a beach club on the Sunday for the post wedding party and of course the actual wedding day on the Saturday! She liaised with all vendors on our behalf, taking the stress out of that aspect, especially with us being based in the UK. On our wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly and it was the perfect day! Our guests cannot stop raving about it! Would highly recommend Niki to help with planning a wedding in Crete. We found Niki just after we decided which venue we wanted to book, Niki handled everything from that point onwards. She is such a warm and friendly person, so easy to talk to and an instantly calming presence. She covered all aspects of planning, no ask was too much! Keeping in touch regularly on email and occasional video calls and in person meetings. She has a great network of vendors who were also all amazing! She helped plan every detail of our welcome dinner, main wedding event and recovery pool party the next day, all went amazingly and all our guests and ourselves had the best time. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, thanks to Niki and team! As a destination couple, we knew we needed help to plan our wedding in Crete. We put a lot of trust in Niki, and she delivered above and beyond! She had the perfect suggestions for our vision at Arbora villa, and even though we were far away she seemed to get what was important to us and needed more attention, and which things we didn't need to spend a ton of time and energy on (which was a huge relief as we started to get decision fatigue). She is relaxed but prepared, which was really helpful to make the actual day way less stressful. The vendors she recommended were all top notch and made our wedding so memorable. She and her team were professional, kind and sweet and our guests really enjoyed the interaction they had with them as well. When people ask me, I have to tell them "if anything went wrong on the wedding day, I didn't notice!" thanks to the NMevents team. If you are on the hunt for a wedding planner in Crete- someone who is super organised, attentive, has amazing relationships with so many local vendors, excellent and prompt communication skills and most of all is simply the loveliest, most warm and kind person - look no further than Niki and her little sis Stella from NM events. We first contacted Niki a couple of months before our destination wedding in Crete, quite frazzled, as some of the plans that we had organised ourselves for our wedding had come into some problems. From the very first email back from Niki we knew that we were in safe hands with her - she was empathetic, responsive, and immediately started helping us by making calls and coming back to us with possible solutions (all out of the goodness of her heart, before we had engaged her as our planner!) We then were lucky enough to have Niki and Stella organise all of our legal documents and for our on-the-day wedding coordinators for both our civil wedding ceremony, Greek Orthodox ceremony, and our daughter’s Greek Orthodox baptism… We were simply in awe of the way Niki and Stella managed the lead up to our events and the wedding day itself. Nothing was too much trouble, and I felt like the day itself was seamless and perfect because Niki and Stella were aware of every detail, quietly working in the background to ensure that all of our suppliers were organised and had the information they needed to ensure the day went to plan. Above all else, Niki and Stella have such warm and positive, ‘can-do’ attitudes that it was just lovely to be around them, and we knew that whatever issues arose, they would manage it which meant that we could just relax and enjoy the celebrations! We really felt that the entire NM events team worked so hard, was very reasonably priced, and really cared about us and how the events played out, and for that we will be forever grateful. All I can say is if you are planning a wedding in Crete, I wouldn’t want to do it without these two!! We got married in June 2024 in Rethymno (Crete) and are still overwhelmed by how beautiful and unforgettable our wedding was! Planning a wedding on Crete in Germany is not possible without a wedding planner (we know what we are talking about because we tried it first) and we are glad to have had Niki from NM Events as our wedding planner! She of course knows the local service providers and knows who to recommend and who not to recommend. Everyone was on time (no clichés please ;) ) and everyone really did a unique job, everyone was passionate and professional! We didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day and only had time for our guests and could simply enjoy our wedding day. Niki is passionate about what she does and her cheerful manner makes it fun to plan the wedding with her! We got on well straight away and even though we probably drove her crazy with our German precision at times, she didn't let on and made our wishes come true! But Niki also supported us in planning the days around our wedding! The Arbora Olea Luxury Resorts are simply gorgeous and were the perfect accommodation for our guests and as a location for the wedding simply exceptional! She also recommended restaurants for the other evenings and took care of organising an authentic Greek meze evening at the villas! She also took care of organising the documents as we wanted to have a civil wedding in addition to the free ceremony. Planning a wedding takes a lot of effort, passion and attention to detail and planning a wedding abroad makes everything even more complicated. But with Niki from NM Events we always felt safe, we could always rely on Niki and in the end we celebrated a dream wedding that we could never have imagined to be so beautiful!
