The Magic Coaching training was brilliant. The sessions were excellently facilitated: engaging, concise, and packed with a tonne of useful information and practical tools. There’s a strong emphasis on supportive practice, which really helps to build confidence and embed learning. It also attracts a really interesting and eclectic group of people, making it a great opportunity for networking and peer learning. I came away feeling much more equipped and inspired as a coach. Having just completed the three all day workshops that are part of this coaching course, I can honestly say I feel deeply motivated and very confident in pursuing this qualification with aim of making a career from it. Without a background in coaching, being able to put what we learn into practice in the safe place that is each session means that I have already set the groundwork to be an effective coach. The practical side of this course is so important for building confidence and hitting the ground running. I could not recommend this course enough to those who are looking to develop their people skills and help others in growing and achieving.

The logical framework outlined helps support the coach or line manager to take any coachee on a journey of discovery, methodically. I am currently participating in the ILM Level 5 Effective Coaching & Mentoring Programme being run by by ESB. The benefits of their approach of spreading the course over 10 bi-weekly sessions are already evident for me. It has given me time to explore and embed each topic in depth and also space to tailor the learnings to my own needs. Rosie and Jan's sessions strike a happy balance of being challenging so I feel I'm really learning, developing, but enjoyable such that I look forward to them. Strongly recommended for anyone looking to extend their own mentoring and coaching skills or develop a coaching culture in their organisation.
