. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Rob was fantastic helping my husband and I plan our dream elopement! Once we got engaged we knew we wanted an Irish elopement since we met through an international trip going there. I looked up elopement’s in Ireland and Robs page was one of the first I saw. Immediately I was stunned from the gorgeous photos he took of other couples. Looking at other options that might have been more budget friendly I couldn’t get Epic Love Photography out of my mind. Researching more into Rob’s page he has multiple packages that can work for any couple. It was well worth it and more booking Rob. He was an amazing planner for us and always had the best recommendations for other activities during our trip. Especially being out of the country it was so nice that Rob was able to plan and set everything up for us so we didn’t have to stress on our elopement day. I recommend eloping to everyone since it is way less stressful and less expensive than a traditional wedding. During our photos Rob was great to work with. He was very chill but knew exactly what to do and how to angle us. Even with some crazy weather Rob was able to get photos of us in the most beautiful locations. If you are deciding on an Irish elopement definitely go with Rob! He’s well worth the investment and time. We can’t thank him enough for the amazing experience my husband and I had.

Jerycka and Andrew, thank you so much for this incredible review!

It genuinely means a lot that you researched all your options but kept coming back to Epic Love. I know booking an elopement from another country is a big decision, so I’m incredibly grateful that you trusted me to plan it and capture the day for you.

Taking the stress out of everything is exactly why I built the business this way. I want my couples to arrive in Ireland knowing everything has been taken care of, so they can relax and properly enjoy the experience together.

The weather certainly gave us a bit of everything, but that’s Ireland! You both embraced it brilliantly, and I’m so glad we were still able to create beautiful photographs in some incredible locations.

It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you both and being part of such a special day. Thank you again for choosing me and for recommending Epic Love!

There aren’t enough words to describe how incredible Rob was. Hiring him was one of the best decisions we made for our elopement. From the very beginning, the planning process felt so personal. He took the time to get to know us, helped us narrow down locations, and made thoughtful recommendations based on what we wanted our day to feel like rather than just taking us to the most beautiful places. His experience and knowledge of Northern Ireland made planning from abroad feel effortless. We spent over six hours together, from the end of getting ready through our ceremony, a beautiful luxury picnic, and then exploring some of the most breathtaking locations in Northern Ireland for portraits. By the end of the day, it honestly felt like we had spent the day with a friend. We absolutely lucked out with the weather. It was one of those rare, picture perfect Irish days with endless sunshine, and even Rob commented on how unusual it was! I know he’s much more accustomed to photographing couples under cloudy skies or in the rain, but he handled the bright sun flawlessly. Every single photo is stunning, and somehow he turned the challenging lighting into something that looked effortless. Not only is Rob incredibly talented, but he’s calm, patient, and makes you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Neither of us are naturals when it comes to posing, but he gave just enough direction while still allowing us to be ourselves. The photos never feel stiff or forced—they feel authentic. One of my favorite memories happened after all of the portraits were finished. Instead of simply saying goodbye, Rob took us to one of his favorite local pubs, where we got to step behind the bar and pour our own Guinness. We ended the evening sitting together over drinks, talking and laughing about the day. It was such a genuine, unexpected experience that perfectly summed up who Rob is—not just an incredible photographer, but someone who truly cares about the couples he works with. When I look through our gallery, I don’t just see beautiful photographs—I relive every emotion from that day. Rob captured our elopement more beautifully than I ever imagined possible, and I will be grateful forever. If you’re considering booking him, don’t hesitate. It will be one of the best investments you make.

Michaela, six hours on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland, a luxury picnic, a rare day of Irish sunshine, and ending the night pouring Guinness behind the bar of a local pub. That's exactly how I want every elopement day to feel.

The weather comment made me smile. Sunshine on this coastline is genuinely unusual and I won't pretend otherwise. It does come with its own lighting challenges but after over a decade out here in every condition imaginable, you learn to read it and work with it. Really glad it came through in the photos the way it did.

Getting the direction right is something I care a lot about. Enough so couples know what to do, not so much that they stop being themselves. The photos that people treasure are always the ones that feel real, and that only happens when the couple in front of the camera is genuinely at ease rather than just following instructions.

The pub at the end is non-negotiable for me. Sitting down together after the day, talking it all through over a pint, watching it sink in. That's my favourite part of any Causeway Coast elopement day.

Really glad it felt like time spent with a friend. Congratulations to you both.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Rob from Epic Love Photography. From our engagement shoot at Ballintoy Harbour to our wedding day and post-wedding shoot at the Giant’s Causeway, he consistently delivered beyond anything we imagined. He has an incredible instinct for locations and lighting, turning already stunning places into something unforgettable. On the day itself, Rob was everything you’d want—relaxed, reassuring, and completely unobtrusive. He captured genuine moments naturally, without anything ever feeling staged, including moments we didn’t even realise were happening. The final photos completely blew us away. We still can’t believe they’re ours. If you’re looking for someone to capture your day perfectly, don’t hesitate—book Rob. You won’t regret it.

Andrew, "we still can't believe they're ours" is everything.

From Ballintoy Harbour for the engagement shoot through to the Giant's Causeway on the wedding day, that kind of continuity across multiple sessions on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland builds something a single-day shoot never can. Each location has its own character and the contrast across the full gallery tells a complete story rather than just a moment in time.

The unobtrusive piece means a lot. Being present enough to catch the genuine moments without the couple ever feeling watched or directed into them is something that only comes from years on a coastline you know inside out.

Really glad the whole journey delivered. Congratulations to you both.

Rob was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process, from start to finish. If you’re considering eloping in Ireland, I truly can’t recommend him enough. He went above and beyond to help us plan not only our elopement but also laid the foundation for our entire trip. The two days we spent shooting with him were an incredible experience, and his guidance, professionalism, and genuine passion made everything feel effortless. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to be part of such a special time in our lives.

Ben, I'm still thinking about what a brilliant two days that was.

Planning an elopement in Ireland from the US is one thing. Building an entire Ireland trip around it and having it all come together the way it did is something else entirely. The fact that the foundation was there from the start — the locations, the logistics, the sequencing across two days on the Causeway Coast — is what gave the shooting days room to breathe and feel effortless rather than rushed.

Two full days with Mara on the Northern Ireland coastline, the castles, the clifftops, the hidden corners that most visitors never find — that's the version of an Ireland elopement that produces a gallery you'll be looking at for the rest of your lives.

Really glad I got to be part of it. Congratulations to you both.

10/10 experience. Rob made everything so easy and stress free! He not only helped plan our elopement, but also helped plan our trip by giving us recommendations for places to stay, eat, and things to do. He provided recommendations for everything from hair/makeup to bagpipe players! On top of all of that, his photos were breathtaking and looked completely unreal! I definitely recommend Rob if you want a fun, stress free elopement and amazing photos.

Pfeiffer & Michael, this means so much, thank you. Getting to plan your whole trip alongside the wedding day itself, from where to stay and eat down to hair and makeup and a bagpiper, is exactly the kind of involvement I love bringing to an elopement. It's never just about showing up with a camera.
I'm delighted the photos matched how the day felt in person. The Causeway Coast gives us incredible light and backdrops, but the two of you are what made those images work.
Congratulations again, and thank you for letting me be part of it.

When we decided to elope in Ireland, finding the right photographer was one of the most important parts of the experience. From the very beginning, Rob made everything feel effortless. Not only did he capture our day beautifully, but he was also an incredible resource throughout the planning process, connecting us with talented local vendors who helped bring our vision to life. On the day itself, he made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, guided us when needed, and somehow captured every emotion, moment, and detail so naturally. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the entire experience all over again. The photos are beyond anything we could have imagined and perfectly capture not only how our day looked, but how it felt. If you’re considering an elopement in Ireland, we cannot recommend Rob and Epic Love enough. Thank you for giving us memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. 🤍

Thank you Lindsay.
Reviews like yours mean more than I can say, and I'm so glad the whole experience felt the way it did.
What you described is exactly what I set out to build with every Ireland elopement I shoot. The planning support, the vendor connections, helping you feel natural on the day rather than posed, and making sure the photos don't just show what happened but actually feel like it did. That's the goal every single time.
U.S. couples eloping in Ireland face a unique challenge: they're planning something deeply personal from thousands of miles away, trusting someone they've never met in person to get it right. I take that trust seriously, and it's why I focus entirely on elopements rather than traditional weddings.
Your gallery will always be there to take you straight back to that day. I'm so proud of what we made together.
If anyone reading this is in the early stages of planning an elopement in Ireland or Northern Ireland, feel free to reach out. Happy to answer questions even before you're ready to book.

Rob was genuinely one of the highlights of our engagement and wedding. He is incredibly talented but also just really easy to be around and has a way of making people feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. We did our engagement shoot with Rob around the Belfast docks in Northern Ireland and honestly it was just such a fun experience. We visited a few different locations and the photos turned out vibrant, urban and really cool. At no point did we feel awkward or like we didn’t know what to do. Rob gives direction so naturally that everything just felt easy. What really stood out was how enjoyable the whole thing was. It never felt forced or overly posed, we just had a genuinely great time together. Even if we weren’t getting married I would still recommend doing a shoot with him because the experience itself was so memorable. For us it was the perfect way to mark our engagement and we’ll treasure the photos forever.

Marshall, thank you so much for this.
The Belfast docks is a genuinely underrated location for a couples session. The urban contrast with the rest of what Northern Ireland offers, the industrial textures, the waterfront light — it produces something completely different in character from the Causeway Coast clifftops and castle ruins, and that variety is exactly what makes an engagement shoot worth doing as a standalone experience rather than just a warm-up for the wedding day.
The direction piece is something I'm really glad came through. Clear, natural guidance is what stops a shoot feeling posed or awkward, and when people know exactly what to do they stop thinking about the camera entirely. That's when the best images happen.
Really glad it was a highlight. Thank you for trusting me with both.

We had such an amazing photo session with Epic Love Photography at the Causeway in Northern Ireland! Rob made the whole experience so much fun and completely stress-free. He knew all the best spots and hidden gems for incredible photos, and he made us feel comfortable and natural the entire time. His guidance and energy made the session easy and enjoyable from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with the photos and the memories from the day. Highly recommend Rob if you’re looking for a photographer who knows the area and truly makes the experience special!

Ali, thank you so much for this.
The hidden gems are the part I love most. The Giant's Causeway is extraordinary on its own, but knowing which angles, which timing, and which lesser known spots along that stretch of the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland turn a good session into something genuinely special — that comes from over a decade of working this coastline in every season and every condition.
Really glad the guidance made it feel easy and natural throughout. That's always the goal, whether it's a couples session, an anniversary shoot, or a full elopement day in Northern Ireland. Congratulations to you both and thank you for spending part of your Ireland trip with me.

As a wedding photographer myself, I never really dreamed of having a fairytale wedding. When you photograph weddings every weekend, the reality is that it becomes hard to imagine anything topping the last incredible day you just witnessed. Over the years, as I started traveling more around the world and photographing elopements, my perspective began to change. I fell in love with Ireland several years ago… and I also fell in love with Rob’s work. At the time, though, I was single, so it felt like a distant dream tucked away for “someday.” Once I got engaged, my husband envisioned a huge wedding, and we both wanted our pastors to marry us, so we stay stateside for our wedding. I still wanted to elope, but in the scheme of things I just want to be married.  As a complete surprise, my husband booked our second honeymoon to Ireland so we could finally have our photos done with Rob — and somehow, without ever expecting it, it truly started to feel like a fairytale. Crazy things with life happen and our 2nd honeymoon became our 1 year anniversary trip, but it was perfect! I mean, when do you get to celebrate your anniversary in an epic place and also put back on your wedding dress? There’s just something about Northern Ireland that changes you. Standing in those cliffs with the person you love, documenting it all through Rob’s lens, felt surreal in the best way possible. The perfect sunset, a warmer day, sheep grazing in the pastures and sound of the ocean roaring. And Rob? Absolutely incredible from beginning to end. As a business owner myself, this experience genuinely reminded me what exceptional customer service looks like through the client’s eyes. Rob went above and beyond every step of the way. He sent helpful recommendations and resources that had nothing to do with wedding photography rather something to help us enjoy Ireland, simply because he cared about our experience as a whole. His communication was top-tier from the moment we booked until long after the session ended. One of my favorite parts of the experience was how intentional he was about including my husband throughout the entire session. My husband was already excited to be there, but Rob constantly made him feel confident, comfortable, and engaged in the process — because the reality most men are not excited to hike in a suite and dress shoes. It never felt awkward even though I’m always behind the camera. It felt natural, fun, and meaningful. Our first year of marriage was chaos and thankfully I had my best friend to walk beside me hand in hand. The night of the photos helped us reflect and gave us a huge breath of fresh air! We ended our night in a tiny hotel by the ocean, sitting in our bed eating take out, the smell of sheep’s pop filled the room from my dress, my hiking boots were dirty, reminiscing on our past year and laughing until we cried. It was epic and we needed this night! I truly cannot recommend Rob enough. Not only is his work breathtaking, but the experience he creates is something special all on its own. We already cannot wait to go back to Ireland someday and have our photos done again with Rob. If you’ve ever been to Ireland, it feels like home. And if you’ve ever meet Rob, you’ll feel like you are meeting an old friend! Cheers to many more years of wild adventures and chasing sunsets!

Tonya, thank you for this. Coming from someone who photographs weddings & elopements for a living and knows exactly what good looks like from behind the camera, this genuinely means a lot.
The detail about Ryan is the one that stays with me. Getting the person who didn't plan the session just as invested in it as the one who did is something I think about on every shoot. When both people are truly in it together the images show that. When one person is just tolerating the process, that shows too. Really glad Ryan felt part of it from start to finish.
The anniversary context makes the whole thing better too. A first year of chaos, a breath of fresh air on the Causeway Coast, and ending the night in a tiny hotel eating takeaway with sheep smell coming off the dress. That's a real story. That's the kind of evening that stays with people long after the photos arrive.
There's something about Northern Ireland that does that to people. The cliffs, the light, the ocean, the sheer scale of the Causeway Coast landscape. Couples arrive not quite knowing what to expect and leave not wanting to go home. I've seen it hundreds of times and it still doesn't get old.
Congratulations on your first year, both of you. Ireland will be here whenever you're ready to come back.

There’s not many people that have the eye for detail that Rob has. He has a magical way of knowing the right light, perfect angles, and capturing the most natural moments in such a beautiful way. Rob is an incredible photographer, and having the right person there on your wedding day makes such a difference - he is such a calm, friendly person to have around you on your special day. And the most important thing, our photos are absolutely stunning, thank you so much!! We’re so grateful for every special moment you captured, and the quality is incredible, we can’t thank you enough. We’re so glad we chose Rob as our wedding photographer, we’re absolutely thrilled with the photos, we would recommended him to everyone!!

Elan, thank you so much for this — really glad the day felt the way it did.

The calm on the day is something I work hard at. When there are a lot of moving parts and a couple is feeling the weight of the occasion, the energy the photographer brings into that space matters more than most people expect. If it feels settled and unhurried, the images reflect that. If it feels pressured, that shows up too.

The light and the angles are the craft side of it. Knowing where to be and when, reading how the conditions are shifting, finding the frame before the moment arrives rather than chasing it after. That's what twelve years on this coastline gives you.

Really glad the photos delivered. Congratulations to you both.

Anna, thank you so much for this.
Engagement sessions are one of my favourite things to do on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland. The coastline gives us so much to work with — the clifftops, the castle ruins, the hidden beaches — and without a ceremony timeline to hit, there's real room to just move through the landscape and let the images come naturally. That relaxed pace is exactly what produces photos that feel like you rather than photos that feel posed.
Really glad you both felt at ease throughout. Congratulations on your engagement, and I hope the wedding planning is going well.

Ryan, thank you so much for this.
Murlough Bay for the ceremony and Dunseverick Castle for portraits is a day I always love putting together. That remote corner of the Causeway Coast has a quiet intensity to it that couples feel the moment they arrive, and Dunseverick delivers something completely different in character just a short drive away.
The recommendation over a traditional wedding means a lot too. That's the whole point. An elopement in Northern Ireland done properly gives you something a venue wedding simply can't, and I'm really glad the day delivered that for you both.
Congratulations again.

When Max and I were trying to decide how to get married we were so overwhelmed, all we really knew was that we didn’t want a traditional wedding. We joked about Vegas and got a lot of input from a lot of people on what we should do until one day we saw some of Robs photos online. If you have looked at any of Rob’s pictures, you can see he is a beyond talented photographer. Not only does he know how to capture people in the moment, but also the beautiful landscapes in the background. We immediately fell in love with his work and have always been adventurous and loved to travel. As we found his page and resources and Rob replied to our first message it all clicked, we decided to go on another adventure - this time an elopement! We met with Rob and he made us feel so at ease over Skype, walking us through our plans and giving us boatloads of other information that was helpful for our trip. We signed the dotted line and had everything planned, and then Max was in a life altering car crash. We had no clue what was going to happen for a while, he had to relearn to talk, walk, eat, and breathe on his own. His goal was to be able to hike in Northern Ireland for our elopement someday, even though we wouldn’t be able to go when we had planned. Rob stayed in touch and was always understanding and flexible throughout all this, and helped make our dreams come true a little over a year after we had originally planned. Rob met with us to plan the whole day to our preference multiple times. He made everything so easy by helping coordinate flowers, where to eat, our celebrant and ceremonial items. We were very very very last minute for arranging a lot of this and Rob went above and beyond always happily offering help and making things go smooth. We had never gotten our photos taken professionally and were a little nervous but that immediately dissipated with Rob. Our celebrant Owen was so warm & it felt like we had known him & Rob forever. Everything was truly perfect for the day, we had so much fun running around Northern Ireland dressed up and drinking whiskey and Guinness. We even made a stop at a pub, pulled our own drafts & ate fish & chips! If we could have this day a million times over we would without changing a thing! We are so grateful to Rob and everyone involved for helping give us such a cherished memory. Beyond the big day itself Rob stayed in touch, sending us recommendations for where we traveled on our road trip. When we got our sneak peaks a week or two after our elopement we were blown away. He captured our love and laughter that day & the landscapes were truly breathtaking. We are absolutely obsessed with our photos and our experience, thank you so much Rob!

Hi Max & Alyssa, thank you so much for sharing your story, honestly, it means the world to me. From our very first message, I could tell you two weren’t looking for a typical wedding day, and I’m so glad you chose Northern Ireland for your elopement.
While I love being a Northern Ireland elopement photographer, when I think back on your day, what stands out most isn’t the landscapes. It’s Max. Watching someone set a goal like hiking the Causeway Coast while relearning to walk, talk, and breathe, and then actually standing there on your wedding day, is something I’ll never forget. It was a true testament to your strength as a couple.
The elopement planning side of things is always a joy for me, from coordinating the flowers to finding the perfect local spots, but with you two, it felt especially important to get every detail right. You’d already waited long enough for this adventure!
The day itself was just so "you"—sipping whiskey and Guinness, pulling your own pints at the pub, and enjoying fish and chips in your wedding clothes. Owen was a brilliant celebrant as always, but the real warmth came from the two of you. When I went through your gallery, I couldn't stop smiling; that laughter and the rugged beauty of the Irish coast came through in every single frame.
Thank you for trusting me with your Northern Ireland elopement. Days like yours are genuinely why I do this work.

Working with Rob was such a joyful experience, beginning to end! When we considered eloping, we decided to make an adventure out of it and go somewhere we’d never been, but always wanted to go. Rob and Epic Love photography were the first to come up when we searched Ireland elopements, and I immediately fell in love with Rob’s photography. Not long after we got engaged, we set up a call with Rob, and he was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and kept reiterating that he wanted us to just be able to show up and have an amazing time. We handed him the reins, and he organized *everything* including hair, make-up, flowers, and a celebrant. He provides a ton of information to help you plan your trip, including a suggested itinerary, recommendations for accommodations, food, and attractions. It was all so helpful! He also walked us through detailed options for selecting locations to take photographs and have our ceremony. He was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire process, and made everything fun and easy. On the day of our actual elopement, Rob was wonderful! It’s kind of wild to meet someone in person for the first time and have them be part of one of the most intimate experiences, but Rob made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and was such a joy to hang out with all day. In looking through our photographs, Rob also managed to capture our personalities and our joy, and the photos are such a great reflection of who we are and the incredible experience we had that day. If you are considering booking Rob, I would say absolutely go for it - it was so worth it!

Rob made our entire elopement a dream! We could not have done it without him. He suggested the timeline, the locations, all the vendors, including the accommodations for all of our guests, essentially acting as a built-in wedding planner. The photos were absolutely epic. They are so surreal. We’ve gotten so many compliments. Rob was able to navigate the weather changes very well and adapt on the fly (while also keeping me calm and comfortable as the hail was very daunting). I’m so glad the timeline and vendor recommendations helped everything come together, and you both handled that very Irish weather like absolute pros. The hail was a surprise, but it made for some of those surreal, epic moments we captured.

It was an absolute privilege to guide you to those hidden spots and document your day as it unfolded. Thank you for trusting me with something so meaningful.

Having Rob as our photographer was the best choice my husband and I could’ve made. Going into the experience we already knew we loved his photography but were unaware just how personable and comforting his presence would be. We were alone for our elopement and he made us feel at ease and taken care of. We’ve never been to Northern Ireland so we were happy to have him guide us around to the best locations. That day was by far the most memorable part of our trip. 20/10 experience and we wish we could do it all over again just to hangout with Rob!!

Hi Taylor — thank you so much for your kind words. It truly means a lot.

It was an absolute honour to be your Northern Ireland elopement photographer and to help you plan and experience your destination elopement in Ireland. Working with couples travelling from the United States is something I love, especially when it’s their first time visiting Ireland.

Your ceremony at Dunluce Castle on Ireland’s Causeway Coast was incredibly special. Saying your vows with the cliffs and Atlantic coastline behind you is exactly why so many couples from the U.S. choose to elope in Ireland. I’m so glad I could help you feel comfortable, supported, and completely at ease throughout the day.

Thank you again for trusting me to guide you through such an important experience. I’m so grateful to have been part of your Irish elopement adventure, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.

What an absolute pleasure it was working with Rob. If you’ve seen his work, you already know how talented he is, but what truly sets him apart is the experience he provides. Having never been to Northern Ireland, we put a tremendous amount of trust in Rob when it came to selecting our ceremony location, and it ended up being more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. He was professional, calm, and incredibly efficient, keeping everything organized while making the entire process feel effortless. The photos are absolutely stunning and something we will cherish for a lifetime. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Rob was worth every penny, and we would choose him again without hesitation.
