Exceptional Service, Installation and Results
After researching several solar companies on the Gold Coast, I chose Energy Solution Centre and couldn't be happier with the result.
I first discovered the company through their Instagram advertising and was impressed enough to visit their showroom in Nerang. What immediately stood out was how professional the business was compared to many other solar companies. Energy Solution Centre has a purpose-built showroom where you can see the different solar panels, batteries and energy systems in person. Not many companies offer this level of transparency and professionalism.
At the showroom I met Freddie, who looked after my project from the beginning. One of the biggest advantages was that Freddie is a licensed electrician, not just a salesperson. He was able to explain the technical side of the systems clearly and answer every question with confidence and expertise.
Within a couple of days of visiting the showroom, Freddie came to my home in Burleigh Waters to complete a full site inspection. We discussed roof orientation, panel placement, battery location, cable routing and system sizing in detail. One of my biggest requirements was that I didn't want visible conduit running down the front wall of my home. The battery location is highly visible from the driveway and I wanted a clean, premium installation. Freddie listened carefully and assured me that everything could be installed through the wall cavity and roof space to maintain the appearance of the home.
We also discussed aesthetics extensively. My home has a Monument Colorbond roof and I wanted a modern, stealthy-looking solar array. Freddie recommended all-black panels and ensured the installation would look as good as it performed.
I obtained three quotes in total, and while other companies could potentially install sooner, none came close to the professionalism, attention to detail and overall confidence that Energy Solution Centre provided. The difference between them and the competition was night and day.
The installation took place approximately nine weeks after signing, which was understandable given the high demand created by current battery rebates. Communication throughout the process was excellent. The office kept me updated, confirmed everything before installation day, and all equipment arrived exactly when scheduled.
The installation team, led by Matt, was outstanding. Matt understood every detail I wanted and delivered an installation that genuinely looks showroom quality. The workmanship is exceptional. The battery installation is incredibly neat, the cable management is virtually invisible, and the solar array looks fantastic on the roof. Matt also went above and beyond by fitting a hot water timer and helping optimise the overall system setup.
The final system consists of a GoodWe ESA 32kWh battery system with four battery modules and 28 AIKO solar panels delivering approximately 13kW of solar generation.
The performance has exceeded my expectations. The battery is typically fully charged by around 2:30pm each day and I'm waking up with around 60% battery remaining after powering the home overnight. At the moment I'm effectively running the house almost entirely from solar and battery power with no meaningful grid imports, while still running hot water, induction cooking, ovens, air conditioning and all normal household loads.
From the first showroom visit through to installation and commissioning, the experience has been excellent. Freddie and Matt delivered exactly what they promised and were a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process.
If you're looking for a solar and battery system on the Gold Coast and want a company that genuinely cares about system design, workmanship, presentation and customer service, I highly recommend Energy Solution Centre.

Really happy with my battery system, from first contact at sales, technical support with Ryan, installation with Millar and the boys was excellent, thanks guys, and final follow up from Teigs to see if I was happy with the process.
I regularly hear their add on Rebel FM, my station of choice, everything sounded right, quality items and the expertise to back it up, impressed with the showroom, I was also after a shopfront that's been around a while, so I can just visit them if I have a problem, with so much done on line these days, I wanted a bricks and mortar shop with real people.
I didn't shop around, didn't want to get bombarded with never ending facebook adds, also shopping around could land you with a cheaper system at the expense of quality, and people hidden behind the internet.
Definitely 5 star. They were always in contact, you knew every step in the process all the way. Happy Chappy :) totally recommend.

Great experience from initial consultation about the best option to suit our households power usage. Then was kept informed via email regarding the installation date. After ordering the solar and battery system there was a time lapse between then and installation possibly due to the demand. After the installation and the system was working there were a few date changes for the meter box to be updated where different technicians couldn't do the update at the time of their visit. The whole process was finally completed. Keith was, and still is, always friendly, knowledgeable and available to answer any questions or do any follow ups at any time from the initial quote to now.

Energy Solution Centre were amazing from start to finish. I had so many quotes from different companies, just trying to sell me a system. They didn't care what I needed they just wanted the Money. Freddie Cashmore at ESC was brilliant, he listened to what I had to say and what my needs were and designed a system to suit mine and my family's needs. He was very professional and could answer all my questions and queries without trying to baffle me with science. Awesome and I would highly recommend him.
