We called Josh when my dad entered hospice and needed 24-hour nursing care. In less than 24 hours Josh sent us Ann, who was awesome. In addition to being a certified nursing aid, Ann was also a certified medical aid, which meant she could administer the drugs that hospice provided. Not only that, Ann had the years of experience so she knew what drugs to administer when my dad was having particular symptoms. Going through the hospice process with a loved one is hard enough, but Saving Grace and their great team was available to help us every step of the way and provided excellent care for my dad. I would highly recommend Saving Grace to anyone who has a need for nursing care.
Saving Grace Private Home Care is just amazing. We brought my uncle home, who had been in the hospital then rehab for close to 2-months. We knew he was going to need 24-hour care and was planning to do this as a family. After the first night, I realized that we were going to need help as he was having sundowners and dementia. One phone call to Josh at Saving Grace Private Home Care and he was right there to help! Gerty and Ann have been amazing caregivers, and I just can't say enough about Josh. Josh suggested that hospice would be extremely helpful for my uncle and in a week, so many things have taken place and we've gotten so much assistance. I really don't know what I would do without Josh and his employees. I am so very thankful for them and have seen so many prayers answered this last week in the help that we need for my uncle!
We initially called Josh just to help find a nice assisted living facility for my parents. Unfortunately, my father had a stroke soon after and we were in crisis mode. Josh and his caregivers stepped in immediately during a VERY stressful time and helped provide around-the-clock care for my step-mother, while also helping to organize and facilitate moving them both into a senior care facility together. Felicia, Shanice, and especially Gerty were beyond patient while caring for my step-mother, and Gerty even went with her and stayed at her new home to help her acclimate. Josh went above and beyond several times starting with meeting me at the hospital with my father, helping us find a rehab facility for him and being there with us when we met them, to setting up the movers we needed to move them into the eventual Senior Living facility. He even offered to move items himself with his truck. This last month has quite possibly been the most stressful month ever for my family and I honestly do not know how we would have done it without Josh and Gerty by our side helping us with every step. I cannot say enough great things about them. I was so nervous about putting all of our trust and faith into complete strangers but I am so glad that we did. They really were our saving grace so this company is aptly named.
I used Saving Grace for my 98 year old mother’s care. Gerty and Shanice were her caregivers, taking care of her needs, and both did an excellent job. Both were kind, attentive, and patient with my mother. Both were good companions for my mother, engaging her in conversation. My mother’s sleep patterns were varied and both Shanice and Gerty readily adapted to her changing sleep habits. My mother went into hospice and both Shanice and Gerty were right there with her. My mother eventually passed and Gerty came to our house and stayed during the funeral.
I highly recommend Saving Grace, Gerty and Shanice, and I would use them again without hesitation.
Josh is an exceptional person who gave my family peace of mind at a time when it felt like we had nowhere else to turn.
My mom was unable to get out of bed or even sit up to eat and drink, but was refusing to go to the hospital. I live in a different state and didn't know what to do. Long story, short, Josh took it upon himself to check in on my mom personally the very next morning even though he did not have any caregivers available.
It's a rare thing to find someone who cares about people as if they were family.

When we learned of the services provided by this company, we had no idea just how important they would be during the last days of our beloved wife/mother. They made extraordinary efforts to see that everything possible was done to keep our loved one comfortable in a loving and caring way. Josh is such an amazing person in so many ways. He provided so much support for our family. He even came to the house to sit with my mother while awesome Gerty had an appointment to attend. That in itself speaks volumes of how he values his clients and employees. They really seemed like one of the family and we will never forget all they did. The Hay/Johnson family
I would like to thank Josh and all the ladies that cared for my Mom in her last few months with us. Although she recently succumbed to her illnesses, it was a pleasure working with them and I will forever be grateful for the help they provided me when I decided to bring Mom home. Caring for a parent that is dying is hard...But Josh and his team helped guide me through everything right up to hospice and finally the end.. For months I had been trying to do it all on my own.. And I was exhausted by the time my stubborn pride made me ask for help from a good friend who recommended them to me. I want to consider this paying it forward. I wish I had contacted them so much sooner. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Their rates are extremely reasonable and their staff is very professional and respectful of your needs and home. They are a family business so they can focus on your needs and do it quickly! If you are in need of a caregiver or you are an adult caring for a parent, this advise was given to me... take care of yourself too.. Saving Grace will make it possible for you to do just that.
