I have recently had the good luck to read an article about a new speech clinic :Empowered Speech Pathology. I called and was invited to come and meet Dr Kelly Cantrell, Speech Pathologist...she so friendly and gets to the core of your issue right away. without rushing you. I had lost my voice for about 6 months ago and people struggles to understand me. She gave me voice exercises and helpful ways to talk again. I would give her a 5 star rating. Several people I told about her have asked for her card...She is in Foley

Kelly, the owner and operator of empowered speech pathology is my mother, so this review is obviously biased. I am 26 years old now and since I was a little boy, my mom has come home tired after a days work. When you ask her how her day was she never mentions how she is only how her patients are doing. This is a great representation of how she works with people in the community And focuses on their health above anything else. My mother has been doing this since long before I was born and if you’re having any issues, please reach out to her. There is no one better.

Kelly- speech pathologist developed a memory book of family pictures for my sister with Alzheimer’s so she can look at it to help recall her family. It allows her to relax and be stress free . Such a great tool in helping her with her memory.

This is a top notch practice. Kelly provides a personalized plan that addresses your individual needs. She listens well and answers my questions. Kelly gives practical “doable” exercises and explains how and why to do them. She’s very friendly and compassionate. I felt like I was improving after 2 visits.
