Assolutamente consigliato Tour bellissimo organizzato in maniera eccellente per logistica e tempistiche.. Abbiamo visitato luoghi affascinanti, nel cuore del deserto del Fayomi. Su tutti Wadi El Hitan (Valle delle balene), dove oltre a ritrovarci in un paesaggio incredibile abbiamo visitato due musei: il primo in un edificio di sabbia, il secondo "a cielo aperto", con fossili di balene preistoriche e tanto altro. Una ricchezza immensa. E poi oasi, cascate, laghi e villaggi dove abbiamo gustato tè e un ottimo pranzo. Particolare ringraziamento alla nostra guida in italiano Mohsen, molto preparata e cordiale, ci ha messo fin da subito a nostro agio facendoci trascorrere una bellissima giornata. Un grazie anche al gentilissimo autista del van e all'autista della Jeep 4x4 che ci ha portato nel cuore del deserto facendo molto divertire mio figlio con il dune bashing. Per noi la più bella esperienza fatta al Cairo. Assolutamente consigliato.

A tour guide is absolutely essential in Egypt if you want to know the local history and all of the best spots, and our experience with Emo tours was above and beyond the other two services we used. I’m not the type to write reviews often, but I felt like our experience really warranted the 5 stars! We went to Egypt recently as 3 mid-20s Americans who enjoy exploring, experiencing different cultures, and history, and we got all of those things in our two tours with this company. The first tour was an excursion to the Red Sea with Fahd and Fooli, which was excellent. Even though the weather conditions were a bit chilly due to it being so early in the season, they made sure that we had a great time. We ended up spending as much time in the Sea as we did on the beach hanging out and talking with the guys! It was a really cool and authentic experience, and a highlight of our trip. Even the car rides there and back were a ton of fun. The next day we had a tour with Hamoudi and got to see the step pyramid, the bent pyramid, and Sakkara tombs (which was easily the coolest thing we saw). Since we actually got to hang out with him on the Sea the day before, it was really chill and laid back. He knew all of the local history (and no, it was NOT aliens) and helped us really understand the cultural and social conditions that led to the creation, usage, and eventual rediscovery of these monuments. After that, he took us around to see a few other really cool spots and modern locations that gave us a cool insights into Egypt today. While of course, Egypt’s main draw is it’s ancient sites, rich culture, and unique geography, you will never get the full experience without a local guide. Our other tours in Cairo were solid, but we truly felt as though Emo tours was a tier above the rest, and that was certainly because of how friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable our guides were. If you’re going to visit Cairo, we fully endorse Emo, and we can’t recommend Hamoudi, Fahd, or Fooli enough!! 10/10

Great experience. Ahmed, the driver, was very gracious and professional. Amazing driving through the busy roads between Cairo and Alexandria. Samira, the Alexandria tour guide, also impressive. A student and teacher of history provided valuable insight and was proud of her Alexandrian roots.

SCAM!! Emo tours was excellent in 2020 but missed the bar and was a scam in 2025. First tour the guide walked us to the bontanical gardens and didn’t say a single word the entire walk. No information. Nothing. Very disappointed and not worth the money. The felucca ride was cancelled so took a motor boat ride which again was very fast and no information. For the tor in Marsa Alam I did not receive my tour or refund. They let us know the tour wasn’t happening the morning of the tour. Another tour they didn’t get the required security permits and required us to bribe the police to get back to Aswan all with leaving us with a driver that couldn’t communicate what was going on. BEWARE!!! Do not use this company. They are many others that were better.

Consigliatissimo La nostra guida Monsef e l’autista Mohmed sono stati gentilissimi e simpatici, ci hanno fornito un’esperienza ricca e completa di informazione, cultura e divertimento. Dopo il pick up in hotel siamo arrivati in un villaggio turistico improntato sul savoir faire beduino di cui sapevamo molto poco ma ci è stato un raccontato tutto. Ha preceduto una visita a Fayun dove abbiamo fatto un pit stop per acquistare la colazione e scattare delle foto. Il bello arriva dopo: un altro autista, Islam, ci ha fatto provare l’ebbrezza dell’escursione in jeep sulle dune desertiche e il brivido del sunboarding. Dopo qualche km di salite e discese sabbiose intraprese con stile, arriviamo alla valle delle balene e visitiamo il museo al chiuso e all’aperto, restano assolutamente sbalorditi dalla preservazione dei fossili e delle ossa di balene. Ma non finisce qui: ci siamo poi spostati a vedere il magnifico lago magico e le cascata che crea, uno spettacolo unico. Di ritorno al villaggio turistico, un ottimo pranzo tipico egiziano sulla base delle nostre preferenze culinarie ci ha rimpinzato a puntino per tornare infine a Il Cairo, decisamente soddisfatti. Consigliatissimo, chiaramente chiaramente chiaramente alle nostre 3 inestimabili guide!

We visited 3 sites: Memphis, Dahshur and Saqqara. Unfortunately the tour started with the driver arriving over one hour late without the tour guide. Mr Ahmed kept on ringing after promising me he was near. He didn't speak English. Mr Ahmed apologized several times and bought us dates and water to make up for the lateness. Monica was our guide. She explained each site well but hurried us sometimes. Monica helped us solve the problem with our online ticket.

I had a great time visiting Dendera and Abydos! Honestly, the whole experience felt super smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Bahgat was a fantastic egyptologist really knowledgeable he explained everything in a way that kept it interesting. And a big shoutout to Hassan as well, he’s a great driver. The car was really comfortable, and always felt safe on the road. The journey itself was just as pleasant as the sites. All in all, it was a really well-organized trip and I definitely recommend it to anyone!
