Emma was incredibly kind and personable, easy going. We thoroughly enjoyed having her in our home for our children’s naming ceremony. The process was easy, beautiful and tailored to our family which resulted in a unique and intimate experience for us, our children and our ‘village’ who are supporting us in raising our family. She was open to our ideas and also provided plenty of options to chose from to make the ceremony special. I wholeheartedly recommend her for any occasion.

I first met Emma when she married my brother and sister-in-law in 2017. She also conducted the naming ceremony for my niece when she was just nine weeks old, and it was one of the most heartfelt and beautiful ceremonies I’ve ever attended. From that moment, I knew that when my own wedding day came, I wanted Emma to marry us. Emma is one of the warmest, kindest and most genuine people you could ever meet. Her passion for Humanism shines through in everything she does, and she has such a sincere and thoughtful way of making every ceremony deeply personal. She guided us through every step, providing beautiful suggestions for readings and poems, and helped us create a ceremony that reflected us perfectly. She took the time to learn our love story and wove it into the ceremony so naturally and beautifully. She also included our two-year-old son in such a special way, which meant the world to us. NAMING CEREMONY. From the first moment I spoke with Emma over the phone I felt like I knew her. She was warm, personable and easy going. This was our first time contacting a celebrant and we weren't sure what to expect. Emma made the whole process very easy. From designing the format of the ceremony to providing beautiful poems and readings, she had it all at hand. Any questions she came back immediately. On the day Emma's enthusiastic and friendly personality made the everybody feel at ease. The ceremony was uniquely tailored to our girls making it feel very special. Even with an energetic little toddler bouncing around the sitting room she made things easy and fun. I would recommend Emma to anybody looking for a Humanist Celebrant to guide and celebrate their special milestone or occasion.

Emma was our celebrant for our wedding in May 2026. She was a pleasure to work with in the lead-in to the wedding - she helped us shape the ceremony into something really personal for us, made sure we understood every aspect of what would be happening on the day, gave extremely good feedback on the ceremonial elements we wanted to include, and generally made something that could have been quite intimidating into a very relaxed and fun experience. Her officiating on the day was perfect. She's so warm and charismatic, and she made the ceremony fun while still capturing the gravitas of such an important event. Our guests absolutely loved her, and two of them now want her to officiate their own wedding. I can't state strongly enough how much I would recommend Emma's services as a celebrant.
