Visiting family in Glasgow
I have stayed at Embassy Apartments before and found them really good to stay with. The location is excellent for us a we were visiting family. The room was clean, tidy and had all provisions. We had our car and although the lane to get to the car park is narrow, the car park is great and easy to access. Check in is quick and everything is efficient and easy. Love it!
We had an excellent stay at Embassy Apartments in Glasgow! The host was incredibly responsive from start to finish and kindly allowed us to check in early after our long drive up from Brighton, which made such a difference. The location is great too, so close to the botanic gardens, an easy walking distance to shops and coffee spots, and only a short Uber ride to the OVO for our gig to see Jamiroquai. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had a fully equipped kitchen which was really handy. The shower was super hot and powerful, exactly what you want after a long day out. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
Affordable West End apartment
Stayed in room 4. Lovely, big room which was spotless. Slight damp smell but that is not uncommon in ground floor rooms in older properties. Early check in and late check out so nice long lie. Great value for money and right in the heart of Glasgow’s West End. Would stay again in future.

Great Apartment in West End
The apartment was perfect for what I needed - central location and very clean . I felt totally safe in the apartment at all times . The kitchen and bathroom were brand new and spotless . The only thing I would say is that there was a damp smell in my room , particularly the bathroom and one day I left the bathroom door open into my bedroom and came home and the whole apartment had the smell . I did mention it to reception as I left , so its maybe something that's been addressed . I was in apartment 4 if that helps anyone when booking . Great , well priced place to stay in the West End of Glasgow for a few nights.
It's been a few years since I stayed here and I returned because I had such a great experience and memory of the Embassy Apartments in Glasgow. Nothing and everything has changed about the property. It's still in a superb location is quiet and very comfortable, but what has changed is it looks even better than I remembered. A superb place to stay in Glasgow
Quiet oasis in the city
Beautiful location next to Botanical Gardens. Unbelievably quiet! The road outside doesn't allow vehicles through so there was no traffic noise which was wonderful! We had a good sleep, the beds were comfy. Having a small kitchen was a real bonus. The room feels very spacious, with a high corniced ceiling. This place is a wee oasis in the city. We used it for accommodation to attend a concert at Oran Mor which was a 5 mins walk away.
Great location next to the botanical gardens
Excellent location with large, warm, clean room. The bed was massive and comfortable, bathroom was not great but only because the loo was too close to the shower making it quite awkward to use. Shower was excellent but soap dispenser kept falling apart and could have done with bettter condiments. All in all great value for money.
Comfortable, excellent location.
Location really good. Transit access close, walking to everything of interest simple. The Botanical Gardens are nearby, as is plenty of available walking green space. The location is one of its best assets. Stayed in an apartment. Full kitchen, comfortable bed. On the bottom floor per my request. The window had no lock, which should be corrected. The management staff easily available and glad to help if asked. Finally, all communication re my booking was prompt, complete and professional. I recommend booking here. I would gladly stay again.
I stayed for two nights at Embassy Apartments, Glasgow (Apartment No. 3) on a business trip, and the experience was deeply frustrating. The shower tap was broken throughout my entire stay. I reported it immediately on the first morning, but despite my complaint, nothing was done when I returned in the evening. I was told then there were no other rooms available and "there was nothing they could do", so I was left to improvise for two days without a proper wash — completely unacceptable for any guest, let alone someone travelling for work.
To make matters worse, when I asked if I could at least pay extra for breakfast on the second morning, I was told my studio “was not eligible” for breakfast because it had a kitchen. No flexibility, no customer care, and absolutely no apology for the inconvenience.
Poor service, zero accountability, and no basic hospitality. I won’t be returning — and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting even the minimum standard of guest care.
Great base for a wedding party
What a wonderful time we had at the Embassy Apartments. We used it as a base for a wedding party. The staff were really accommodating and set up with 4 lovely rooms. The rooms are huge some of them had lovely big mugs. There is a car park but it is tricky, especially in long vehicle, watch for the bins off Mitchell Street. The Apartments are right next to the botanic gardens so a stroll through there at the end of the day is great and Bryers Road has lots to offer The only niggle was the cover kept coming off the soap dispenser and some of the loo seats were a bit lopsided. I'd certainly stop there again.
Paid £129 for a room for a night last minute. Did not know what to expect - but it was great. Close to botanic gardens and round the corner from West end shops and cafes. Room was large and clean, beds were comfortable - we had a studio apartment so y kitchenette included. Would def stay again
