Next to botanic garden We wanted accomodation with our own kitchen and we were very satisfied. As the hotel is situated next to botanic garden, we had lovely view of the trees, the path along the river is amazing. Many thanks to lovely lady from reception- she helped to answer all our questions.

Great apartment They are replacing the mattresses when we were there and room 6 definitely needs a new mattress. The location was perfect and the staff were amazing. The photo is a view from the apartment. It was beautiful. You could also hear the birds in the morning.

Great but... Location is quite strategic in a lovely neighbourhood a few yards from the botanical gardens. Really ideal, and free car park in the back. But... our spacious room smelled terribly bad (humidity), the curtains barely hide the bright outside spotlight that shows the facade all night. Receptionist is the most unfriendly person ever. Terrible customer approach, so rude and totally helpless.

We stayed in one of the apartments connected to the hotel: Very clean Well equipped Friendly, helpful and responsive staff Comfortable, incl. a large bed Spacious Quiet Felt secure and safe Parking wasn't a problem Nice location - great position for Botanic Gardens, Kelvin Walkway, Glasgow's West End. This will be our go-to accommodation for subsequent Glasgow city breaks.

Hidden gem This is the second time we've used the Embassy Apartments and I'd certainly use it again. It might be a bit out of the way for the city centre but you're in the heart of one of the best areas of Glasgow. The Kelvin River Walkway is directly across the road and the Botanic Gardens and Biars Road are minutes walk away. The rooms we've had both times have been lovely with views to the front and also well equipped if you want to eat in. But why when you have so many good restaurants minutes away. And you can even park your car at the back of the hotel. Great value for money. Highly recommended

Home from home Lovely apartment, clean and tidy with everything you need. Very handy kitchen in case you want to eat in. Right opposite the botanical gardens for a lovely walk and close to town and subway. Very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast is available in the hotel next door but be sure to book before your stay as it will be busy

Great apartment in a great location. Great location and excellent apartment ,overlooking the botanical gardens, and only a short walk to byers road in Glasgow West end. Added bonus of a having a kitchen to prepare a breakfast. We were met by a friendly receptionist who was very helpful, and booked a taxi for us for our evening out.

Brilliant west end base We found ourselves in a quiet, spacious apartment in a great location for an overnight in Glasgow’s vibrant west end. The check was simple with free parking on site. Apart from one noisy guest it was a perfect stay at an amazing price. The apartments are in a gorgeous white sandstone building near the river Kelvin and botanic gardens. They are very spacious, period rooms which are well appointed and really well glazed. There’s almost no noise from traffic which is impressive considering this is one of Glasgow’s busiest areas. The only fly in the ointment for our one night stay was noise from another guest coming and going late night/early evening. Can’t blame the apartment owners for that though, but it did disturb us. We would thoroughly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Great apartment and location Very well appointed apartment in a pleasant, quiet area of the city overlooking the river, but also conveniently close to bars and restaurants. Nice room layout with good sized kitchen and an amazing shower; large enough for my 6' 4" partner!

Great experience on my stay in Glasgow! The apartment was spacious and welcoming, the staff friendly and attentive. The apartment is well located even if not in the city center. It has the metro very close, and is in a city area with many restaurants, bars and supermarkets.

I'd stay again! This is Mt third stay with Embassy Apartments and I would stay again. Liz was always helpful with getting a cab, printing ticket vouchers, answering questions, and the rest of the staff was very nice. Breakfast is delicious and convenient but be sure to book ahead. The location is divine. Close to the botanical gardens, grocery shopping, post office, public transport, and our view was of wonderful trees along the Kelvin River. The street is quiet and charming.

A perfect stay We stayed 9 nights in the three persons studio. A very clean and comfortable place, the décor is modern and very pleasant, with attention to detail. Embassy Apartments are located in a very quiet street facing the beautiful botanic gardens, but just 5 minutes walk from Great Western Road and West End amenities. A supermarket is 5 minutes walk, a bus stop is just opposite the Hotel and the nearest subway station is only 10 minutes walk. Parking was a real plus. An apartment with the service of a hotel as the Ambassador Hotel reception is just next door. The staff is always friendly and professional, Neil is an excellent hotel manager. lovely breakfast, with table served hot choices. We strongly recommend Embassy Apartments.

Superficially great but a few details were off We were in room 1, which was very spacious with a river view (and possibly the most plug sockets I have ever seen in a hotel room). The location was great and check in and out very easy. However, there were a few niggling issues - the cutlery selection seemed rather random (2 forks and teaspoons but an entire service of steak knives?), the duvet was a little old and tired looking, and the mattresses of the two joined beds were slightly different heights.

Great base Very good location and free parking was an obvious asset! Apartment was a small hotel room with corner kitchen, so was ideal as a base for days out and self-catering. All the basics necessary for a short break. Friendly receptionist and easy check-in.
