This is one of those places in the Dyckman area that surprises you. The food is amazing and you can always tell from their sandwiches and the Italian sandwich I had was sublime. The bread is made in Josie by their chef and it was literally an English muffin. Despite the neighborhood, people who have a palate for good Italian food steps in there and their bartender is one of the best I’ve seen. I can’t wait to go back and try their Chicken Sandwich

We had such a great experience! Our server/bartender Michael was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, professional, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our entire visit. He checked on us regularly without being overbearing and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
His energy and customer service really stood out and made our experience even better. We truly appreciated how welcoming and attentive he was. Excellent service all around. we would definitely come back and hope to have him again!

Super cute spot with a really good happy hour. Food and drinks were yummy and our server Michael was kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the neighborhood!

Truly such a gem that I don’t know why it is not more crowded. The food and drinks are a 10/10. I first was taken care of by Paola one night who was lovely and bonded with me over my watch, on a different day I was taken care of by Michael who made me a delicious Negroni. This will become my go to place. Happy hour is also a steal!

We stopped here after visiting the Cloisters and I’m so glad we did! We ordered 3 gluten free pizzas and the tostones. They were all amazing! I’ve tried many gluten free pizzas before and none have compared to this! Couldn’t even tell it was gluten free! Delicious, great ambience, and friendly service!

I had a great experience at El Tanque Trattoria Bar. The restaurant offers a unique combination of Italian and Dominican flavors, and everything we tried was delicious.
I especially recommend the Prosciutto Crudo e Rucola Pizza, Dominican Power Pizza, Lemon Pasta, Rigatoni alla Bolognese, and the Dominican Empanadas. The food was fresh, the cocktails were well made, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend checking this place out. If you get the chance to visit, it’s absolutely worth it! 🍕 🍝

This place exceeded my expectations. As someone who’s big on fitness and clean eating, I have to say this is definitely one of my new favorite Italian restaurants. I tried almost everything from the eggplant rollatini, octopus, and branzino with vegetables to the steak with mashed potatoes, burrata, and even the pizza, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It’s not easy to find an Italian spot where you can enjoy amazing food and still make healthier choices.I’ll definitely be back!
