We stayed in the Safari Tent and had such a romantic weekend! The place was extremely clean and very welcoming. I loved that we were alone in our area too, which made it very relaxing and quiet! I would recommend to anyone looking to visit the area. We had such a great time and will hopefully be back again soon!

If you are looking for a perfect glamping experience look no further! Jeanetta was a pleasure to work with from the time of booking until our last day. Our place is 10/10 for sure. We had the cutest safari tent with an amazing view, hot tub and a soaking tub! Everything is very clean and beautifully unique! Every detail has been thought of. I highly recommend this place! We will absolutely return!

My Wife and I had an amazing Anniversary Trip! They Took the extra time to Set up the room and also got a nice bottle of Wine so we can enjoy! Definitely going to be returning for another mountain trip!

​My husband and I just got back from a weekend stay at Elk Hollow Resort and already want to go back. If you're looking for a peaceful Mountain getaway, this is it . The setting is quiet and tucked into the woods but still close enough to downtown Bryson City to grab dinner or explore. Our huckleberry tent was super clean , cozy and thoughtfully set up. The private hot tub and fire pit were definite highlights perfect for relaxing after a day out. Everything felt well maintained and communication with Janetta , our fabulous host was exceptional she went above and beyond to make sure or stay was perfect . We will definitely be going back to enjoy again soon .

We stayed in the tent called “ Huckleberry” I was a little unsure because we had never stayed in anything like this but let me tell you it was absolutely amazing!!! It was exactly like the pictures and video. Huckleberry was just what we needed to get away for our 34 wedding anniversary. The host was very informative and detailed no one bothered us and every detail was perfect. We will be back !!! Huckleberry did not disappointed and by the way the first thing we saw when we walked up on the deck were pillows in the outdoor furniture that said “ I’ll Be Your Huckleberry” so appropriate and it made it that much more special. Thank you for this wonderful quaint place and again we will be back !! 😊❤️

Our trip to Lookout Lodge was an amazing experience. The house had everything you could need and plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. Everything was very clean and in working order. We will definitely be back for another visit in the future.

After several hours of research I decided on the Huckleberry Safari tent for me and my wife to spend a few days after she worked a week of inventory and we're so glad we did! I spoke on the phone with Jeanetta with questions about the property a couple of times and after talking to her Elk Hallow was our clear choice. She was kind, and informative in calls and quick to respond in emails. Huckleberry was a beautiful and well maintained property! The tub and shower was wonderful! The living/ kitchen area was everything we needed. Tina wanted to take the living area chairs with us! We slept very well in the bed area. Jeanetta suggested we bring an AWD or 4 wheel drive and we did. Once I got everything out of the truck on Saturday we never stepped off the Huckleberry deck again until we reloaded the truck to leave on Tuesday. It was totally relaxing. The Starlink internet was as fast if not faster than my Specturm at home. It was moonless nights and the stars were as bright as you can see on an eastern seaboard state. We could lay in bed and watch the sunrise. Jeanetta gave us some recommendations on hiking and restaurants. When we left we hiked to 3 beautiful waterfalls in less than 3 miles at Deep Creek just within the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and it was only 3 miles from Elk Hallow! Then we had a very good lunch at the Iron Wok in Bryson City. We would definitely go back!

We came for our 21st wedding anniversary. The yurt was absolutely perfect! It far exceeded our expectations. Jeanette was an excellent host, very responsive to any questions we had, and her home was gorgeous. It literally had every single thing we could think of. This was just what we needed- to get some much needed quality time together, peace and quiet from our hectic go go go lives. Bryson City is a beautiful mountain town with so much to explore. We loved every single second and can't wait to come again.

We stayed at the Hidden Falls location. It was very nice and relaxing weekend. The only small downside is that this location is fairly close to another location so if both are outside you can run into each other. However we only had that happen when we was packing up to leave. Overall the place is great if you are looking to escape and just have a relaxing time alone. The host is great and very helpful. I do highly recommend.
