My experience with Elite Appliances through American Home Shield (AHS) was full of red flags, terrible communication, and unprofessional behavior.
Lack of Accountability: No employee who answers the phone will ever identify themselves by name. When I finally demanded a dispatcher’s name after a major issue, he hung up on me.
Incompetent Repairs: The technician diagnosed my refrigerator with low freon. Even after I explicitly told him that another company had just refilled the freon a few months prior—meaning there was a clear leak—he ignored my comments, filled it anyway, packed up, and told me to call the office the next day.
Dishonest Scheduling & Ghosting: They marked the incomplete job as "completed" to close the ticket. After I reopened it, they missed and canceled multiple appointments. In one instance, they claimed AHS canceled the appointment (AHS confirmed this was not true). In another instance, I waited all day for a rescheduled window, called the day off and was confirmed by a dispatcher the tech was on the way, and when I called back a second time, I was told that appointment was canceled and no one was coming again. It seem like they were playing games with me to get reimbursed by AHS while not fixing my fridge.
Avoid this company if you value your time and want your appliances actually fixed.
If you go with them, make sure to get the dispatchers name before the call ends and record your calls if possible.
Willy did a great job quickly fixing the ice maker and water dispenser on the fridge. He also replaced a microwave lightbulb while here. Thanks

Highly recommend Elite Appliances for appliance repairs. Raymond, the owner, personally came to my house and did an excellent job fixing both my cooktop and dishwasher. He was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and took the time to properly diagnose and resolve the issues instead of rushing through the service. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free. It’s hard to find honest and reliable appliance repair service these days, and Raymond definitely exceeded expectations. I’ll absolutely use them again for any future appliance repairs.
Raymond came out and was so great and got our refrigerator working the same night after other places told us they couldn’t fix it. Don’t call other places before calling him. Call him first.
