The entire team at Tactical Transmission was first class. Communication was very clear, timelines were met, and my transmission is better than ever! Buddy and his team provided diagnosed my transmission issue quickly, gave me a few different options based on my driving needs, and got me back on the road when they said they would. Cost was absolutely fair for the work they did. I highly recommend this team to anyone needing an honest mechanic.

Tactical Transmission (TT) did exactly what they advertised. They fixed my problem in a timely and cost effective manner and stood behind their work. My issue was a major transfer case/transmission leak on a Jeep TJ.
A few days after I got it home it started leaking again. I contacted TT and without question they corrected the problem. Once again in a timely manner and at no charge. Owner Buddy runs a trustworthy and honest transmission repair shop.
Upon choosing Tactical Transmission for recent repairs needed on my vehicle, I quickly noted that integrity, honesty, and pride in workmanship was entrenched in every aspect of the business.
Judging by the performance of my vehicle (2019 Ford Mustage), I was convinced that my transmission either needed to be replaced or rebuilt. Upon speaking with the business owner (Buddy), he immediately informed me that it could be a multitude of things causing my Transmission to slip and/or not function properly.
True to his word, within 24 hours I received a follow-up phone call from Buddy stating that my engine was misfiring and in desperate need of a tune-up. Buddy also stated that this was most likely causing my Transmission to malfunction and/or give false impressions of slipping.
The bottom line is...thanks to the honesty and integrity of Buddy and his employees, my vehicle was repaired and running better than ever at a fraction of the cost that I was expecting, OR that could have been charged for unnecessary repairs or replacement of parts that were not needed.
Needless to say, this will be my "Go-To" place for future repairs or maintenance needed on my vehicle.

If you are considering doing business with Tactical Transmissions, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere based on my personal experience.
I brought my Jeep XJ transmission in for a rebuild. Beforehand, I specifically asked multiple times for the solenoids to be replaced, since that’s a common issue and I understood their service was supposed to include new solenoids. I was told the shop was “waiting on parts,” which delayed my transmission pickup by about three weeks.
When I finally received the rebuilt transmission, I installed it and discovered that the original 25-year-old solenoids were still in place. The transmission did not shift properly. I called the shop at least ten times, spoke with several different people, and left multiple messages for both the builder and the owner, but my calls were never returned.
During this time, the business changed ownership from Delanee to Buddy. I paid the shop when Delanee was still the owner. After the change, I was told by the new owner that I was “out of luck” because I hadn’t paid him directly. Meanwhile, the original owner said it was no longer her responsibility.
In the end, I bought and installed new solenoids myself. Once I did that, the transmission worked properly. I asked the shop for reimbursement of the $200 I spent on parts, but they refused.
This was my experience with Tactical Transmissions: poor communication, lack of follow-through on requested work, and no support after payment. Based on this, I cannot recommend this business.
Andre I understand your frustration as I talked to you myself and explained to bring the vehicle in and I would take a look at it even though it was done with the old ownership and see what I could do to help. Unfortunately you had taken it upon yourself to attempt repairs and then expected payment from me after the fact without giving me the opportunity to check it out. I would have been happy to come to a resolution if given the chance but that never happened. I do my best to take care of customers even one that wasn't mine and I absolutely take pride in taking care of customers and my reviews reflect that.

Buddy at Tactical Transmissions is the Very Best!!! He’s honest, performs quality work at a fair price, has an expert staff, and only does what needs to be done! Buddy doesn’t only talk the talk, he walks the walk! I keep cars for 200K+ miles and I’ve been a customer of his for many years to include Transmission and Rear End work on my Trucks & SUVs, and he has proven himself to be all of the above and more, time and time again! For added perspective, I drive almost an hour without traffic to get to his shop in Mansfield, so that should tell you how much I trust him, as there are certainly shops a LOT closer to me than his, but it’s well worth the drive to get what you get when you do business with Buddy! In short, I don’t go ANYWHERE else for Transmission & Rear End work!

Had GMC dealership check transmission for rough shifting at low speed two different times and they said everything was okay with the transmission.
Took it to Tactical Transmission and Buddy fixed it. Shifts like new now. Very satisfied and grateful for their honest work.
