I needed to extend my lease, and after some initial conversations with the freeholder I concluded we weren't going to reach a number we were both happy with. They were asking for close to 40% more than what I believed the going rate to be and decided a surveyor would be needed.
It feels like in the legal / legal adjacent sector it's painfully common to deal with people who have terrible communication skills and are slow, contrary to the fact that they work in an area where detail is everything. Thankfully, this was the opposite of my experience with Ridhwan. He was quick, friendly and reassuring, gave me a realistic outlook, and was transparent about the best and worst case scenarios. On top of the professional side, the fact that Ridhwan had dealt with this specific freeholder before seemed to carry real weight in ultimately delivering a good outcome.
I can't recommend Ridhwan enough.
