Arrived to a lovely well kept property. But there was no hot tub in working order as promised in the listing and no mention of this prior to arrival. Also couldn’t lock the door from the outside and no instructions of keys. House was clean and tidy and nice location; experience unfortunately ruined by lack of communication.

We really enjoyed our staff! We had everything we needed. The location was perfect to explore Shrewsbury. We had parking too which took away the stress of having to find somewhere. We couldn’t initially find the child’s cot but we got a reply very quickly telling us where it was!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb and would highly recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The place was spotless, beautifully presented and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect and made getting around really easy. The host was also brilliant – friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any questions.You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this a lovely place to stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

venal company I have been staying in Shrewsbury with AirBNB in the same building at least 5 times because my daughter lives there So whenever we visit her from abroad, we book one ESL appartment . This time we booked the same appartment as we did in November 24; at that time, we didn,t write a comment, eventhough the sheets were dirty and the curtains of one of the room ,was on the floor. No commercial gesture of course but they fixed the problems. My uncle passed away yesterday and I asked ESL to postpone the stay. They refused all of my propositions because the cancellation period was over. I told them that I was going to send them the death certificate and they just didn't care. Those people are heartless and venal. It's really a shame! They don't understand that a small gesture in this special circumstance, builds up customer loyalty. I asked AirBnB for help; they,at least, gave me a tiny commercial compensation because they dont want to loose a customer and receive a 1 star comment! Stay away from this company! A word to the wise is enough.

Thomas place was absolutely spotless and after a long days travel was really nice to get inside and find the heating on and place cosy, the only little confusion we had was with the key safe as there is 2 however after trying the bottom one we quickly discovered the code was for the top safe. The house is well decorated and has plenty of amenities we parked towards the rear of the building as was no space at front anytime we stayed here however the car was probably safer in the car park to the rear. We would absolutely recommend this Airbnb and would love to return in the future.Many many thanks to everyone that takes care of this property and the owner.

Stay was great, quiet location despite being in town, nicely furnished. Kitchen meant we didn't have to go out/have take out every night. Only issue was the parking at the front often wasn't available but there is parking round the back.

A nice apartment but... ☺ Comfortable, spacious apartment. Good location, free parking welcome. Facilities were clean. ☹ Stuffy atmosphere in the apartment due to the fact most of the windows could not be opened. Did not appreciate the mandatory damage waiver charge of £25 added late on in the booking process. If this is required it should be included in the headline price for the property. Not doing so is sharp practice and leaves a "bad taste"

This is a beautiful property, we had a wonderful stay! So handy it is right beside a lovely pub also. It would have been even better if the hot tub had been working, but we had a great time nonetheless. Highly recommend for a countryside getaway.

great location only a short walk and you are in the town centre but where the house is is a quiet residential area. House was clean and well set up for 6 adults and one toddler - could accommodate up to 9 easily. Everything we needed was in the house which is a lovely period house which has been modernised. Parking - if you're lucky you can park on the road but is very much hit and miss if there's a parking space , but car park is 2 minute walk away and only cost us £4.00 per day Would definitely recommend.

This stay was great and even better than it looked in the pictures.It is perfect for larger groups, with 3 bedrooms and spacious lounge and kitchen/dining areas. The patio was also lovely but we stayed at the wrong time of year. It'll be great in the summer no doubt.The location is super convenient, just a short walk down from Shrewsbury town centre and the train station. It is right by the river too and tucked away so very peaceful.I would highly recommend this place and the host was super helpful, providing a Visitor's Guide for access, information and recommendations.
