The best thing I have bought for my house so far. An easy decision, highly recommend anyone building or renovating or anything else to strongly consider investing in solar panels.

I have just had a PV system installed with 16 panels and a 16 kW battery by EECO. The whole process from getting a quote and a site survey done, through to installation and commissioning was seamless. The sales lead Gerry was very professional and produced a detailed system design and quote. Gerry did not try and up sell any equipment, as I am an engineer, this was appreciated. The design was exactly what we needed for our household energy consumption. The process from order through to installation was only a couple of weeks. The roofing guys that installed the panels and the electricians who installed the battery and inverter were very competent and did a very tidy job. Messina in admin also very helpful with some queries I had throughout the process.
I did get quotes from other installers and EECO were the best value like for like. Overall, I am very pleased that I selected EECO to install my system. I would recommend them to anyone.
We decided to get solar a few months back and did a lot of research regarding the best set up for our needs.
We had several local companies provide quotes and proposals and decided to go with EECO for a number of reasons;
Product warranties were better than others on the inverter and battery.
Prices were very competitive.
There was no high pressure sales tactics used and we felt in control through the whole process.
Finally, Gerry who provided our proposal and quote was a gentleman.
The after sales service is amazing. They regularly contact us to make sure we are satisfied.
Already we are saving massive amounts even with an electric vehicle being topped up for free every day
Absolutely no after sales service
First off all Two fitting appointments were cancelled but I tolerated that and I agreed a Third date for fitting panels which went ahead and the Electric fitting was completed the following week. Fitting teams were clean and helpful However ive had a few simple issues that have developed and remain unresolved. Emails and phone calls go unanswered which is frustrating and disappointing. I finally make contact with the sales person who also promised a return call and answers to my questions but that did not materialise either ! So for that reasion I cannot recommend this company.

EECO installed a full solar PV install including battery storage for me recently in Bangor/Ards area.
Stuart was great in answering my questions and discussing options before I signed up, he promised me installation within 10 days. The roof guys came earlier than promised after checking that worked for me, fast friendly tidy and efficient in no time the panels were up The electrical guys friendly and efficient talked me though the install and the app, and everything.
Messina and all the office people were also patient friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about how positive this process was in terms of customer service. And obviously the solar panels and battery are great, even with our weather I have been electrically self supporting since installation. I would definitely recommend the company and the team.
Would not recommend EECO.
Several quality issues with original PV panel roofing installation followed by prolonged fault issues with Duracell EV charger. Charger eventually replaced with myenergi Zappi but now incompatible with Duracell core system app. Subsequent faults and issues with charger/eddi settings along with incompatible myenergi eddi water heating system with Duracell app.
Still awaiting response from EECO who seem to have given up their duty of care and after sales support by not answered my calls, emails or txt messages (not sure if they are still in business?).
Very disappointed. The company was recommended to me 12 months ago and the system offered on paper seemed to be value for money - but unfortunately now I know why.
The entire experience of scoping, designing and implementing our solar solution was perfectly handled by EECO, Gerry and Messina were perfect in every way with updates and amendments I had queried. We called EECO after they installed solar panels on a relative's house. They were impressed and recommended them to us.
From the initial contact and estimated costing to the site survey and electrical connection I was extremely impressed.
At every stage I felt listened to and every attempt was made to ensure I understood all aspects of the job.
The team who installed the panels were very tidy and polite and worked very quickly.
The electrical team were also amazing and tidied up after themselves. They made some good suggestions which made the work much more inconspicuous and tidy.
After a few days using the system I'm impressed with the app used to monitor the system and the overall installation.
I highly recommend this team if you are considering solar.

I waited 6 weeks before writing a review - already an 80% drop in electric bill and that was during a wet, cloudy March & April time!
When I contacted the Eeco Energy team the response was quick with a visit from Stuart the next day. Stuart was great; professionally assessed thoroughly what our needs were, helped me think through all the options. The computer modelling of different options was fantastic, lots of helpful information, key to deciding what system to install.
The solar panels team were really efficient and polite - all panels installed within a few hours. The electrics team of Ross and Caleb were excellent too - very mannerly, clear communication throughout and we felt listened to. The admin support from Lara and Messina was always quick, professional and polite.
Great overall experience - strongly recommend.
We had solar panels and battery storage installed, as well as a new fuseboard. The team were helpful and knowledgeable in helping us work out what system we needed. The installers and electricians were great; efficient and tidy. I love checking the app and seeing how much money we're saving and how much we're helping the environment.
Install complete last week and I have already noticed massive saving already my reliance on the grid is almost none existent now. Engineers were clean tidy and professional throughout the entire installation process. Gerry at eeco was quick to respond to address all my questions and concerns.

Stuart contacted us after I made an online enquiry. He had some suggestions and modifications for a system best suited to our home that were considered when I mentioned another providers quotation. The price was really competitive and the equipment installed (by my understanding) is high quality and reliable. Messina kept us informed on eta’s for the workers ensuring it fitted our schedule. The roofers fitted the panels within 10 days of the quote and an electrician finished the job a week later. Fascinating seeing the usage on the app and loving seeing how little we’re drawing from the grid.
The job was super tidy with no mess left behind.
Would absolutely recommend EECO (Solar NRG) in a heartbeat!
Our setup (4 bedroom home, SE facing, EV and young family - just outside Lisburn) consists of 16 panels, the hybrid inverter and 20kw battery (x2 10kw). An Eddi smart immersion was also fitted.
