I am currently taking a Russian course with EDUCA (35 hours total, 2 lessons per week), and the experience has been fantastic. I originally looked into group courses here in Amsterdam, but they were significantly more expensive than doing individual remote lessons with EDUCA. The progress I’m making is incredibly fast, and my teacher Sonja is great. Having that one-on-one focus makes a huge difference compared to a crowded classroom. I can really recommend it!

Remote Private Class organised by Educa Several years ago I took a language course with Educa in St. Petersburg and it was fantastic. My old review is included at the end of this one. Last November I decided to join a private course organised by Educa. One of their teachers and I meet in Zoom every Wednesday for 45 minutes. I am extremely happy with this arrangement and I am learning a lot. Of course, it is not as nice as personally travelling to Russia (or the school they have set up in Armenia), but it has the benefit that I can combine the language class with my personal and professional obligations in Switzerland. I can thoroughly recommend Educa as an excellent school to learn Russian. My 1st review: Several years ago, when I visited St Petersburg for a course, I wrote: I have just spent 3 great weeks at this school and can thoroughly recommend it. You can take individual or group classes, or a combination of both. In my case, I took a group course. The teachers were excellent and the size of the class was small (3 people on the first week, 2 in the second and 5 in the third). This meant a lof of opportunities to speak, and also personalized attention from the instructors. The organization was also first class and everything went perfectly (transfers to the airport, accommodation, etc.). Last but not least, there was a programme of excursions three times a week. The school is located in the centre of St Petersburg, just 5 minutes walk from the Ermitage.

I attended an intensive 2-weeks Russian course which I found excellent and would really recommend. Great teacher, impressive administrative support and responsiveness and true immersion that helped me advance my language skills. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to come back in the future!

In September 2025 I spent 2 weeks at the Educa Language Centre in Yerewan. My teacher, Rina, was excellent. She explained well grammatical problems and we also had good conversations in russian. So I could practice this language. Yerewan is s good place to stay! I can warmly recommend it, same goes for the school and the two young ladies of the staff. I had the opportunity to attend EDUCA for two weeks at the end of August- early September, and it was a wonderful experience. I want to say thank you to Ekaterina (and the other Ekaterina too!), for helping me organize a seamless visit to Saint Petersburg. The communication was very clear, and they always answered all of my questions and concerns promptly. I stayed in a host family close to the school which was great and took a series of private lessons in Russian language with instructor Jasmine, who is lovely. She is patient and encouraging and I felt very at ease during the lessons. I am looking forward to continuing lessons online with her until I am able to return back in person. The location of the school is ideal (right next to the Hermitage museum/palace) and the city's historical architecture is absolutely beautiful. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience and I recommend studying here wholeheartedly.

I did a 5-week, one-to-one language course (Russian) in summer 2024. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process of choosing the appropriate course, recommending accommodation, etc. The teacher was excellent and prepared each lesson according to my needs. We also went on cultural visits to museums in Erevan and outside of the city. The school was well equipped with everything necessary. I can only recommend.

I’ve recently started my beginner online lessons with Natalia, who is such a wonderful and experienced teacher. She uses an immersive teaching approach, meaning that conversations take place in Russian right from day one. While this felt challenging at first, it has really helped me gain confidence in conversing in Russian with her, and I’ve noticed myself progressing much more quickly than I expected. Natalia is patient, supportive, and makes the lessons both engaging and effective. The signing up process was also incredibly easy and clear thanks to Ekaterina who has been very responsive and helpful. Educa is definitely the best option for anyone wanting to learn Russian effectively- highly recommended.
