The 11.5 upper receiver is awesome! It’s just the right size for a good truck gun paired with the griffin Recce5K. It consistently rings steel at 400yards. Running suppressed isn’t too gassy especially with the charging handle that comes with it. The CH has a high shelf and is ported on the right side directing gas away from the shooter. I had previously been running the bootleg bolt carrier and sledge hammer CH in all of my whisper pickle guns, but no need to change anything out here. Super happy with this one.
Griffen Armament is one of my few consistent “go to” company’s for barrels, accessories, and suppressors. This company understands quality. And even better, they understand how to produce quality, while keeping the price extremely reasonable. I will come back to these guys over and over!

I have been trying to contact ANYONE at this company for two weeks. Nobody ever answers the phone, they don't return messages or emails. I've never tried so hard to buy something in my life. If my customer didn't want this specific product I would just throw in the towel. ****Update*** Finally talked with a salesperson and without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had. I've never had a company fight so hard to not sell a product that other distributors weren't buying. I guess I understand when they are selling it for less then their own MAP.

Update: Loving my Sportsman Ultra Light HD™ .36!!! Just bought the HUB booster housing to go with. Super versatile suppression for my AR’s and pistols. I prefer the 1.375X24 (HUB) mount that the Sportsman offers. I can put it directly on my A2 adapter for my AR or I can use the HUB booster with a piston and switch to my Glock19 9mm. I even use the 1/2x28 to 1.375x24 adapter to put this on my gsg firefly!
The suppressor “pot holder” Griffin sends really helps with changing setups at the range when she’s “not that hot”. Griffin really does think of everything and really is one stop shop for all your hearing protected shooting needs. Thanks again Griffin Team!!!
