Echo Holiday Park - Windsor Gardens Reviews

Shaun 2026.10.05

I stay here regularly for a week at a time for work and have nothing but praise for this caravan park. The budget rooms are a little dated, but they have everything you need to rest your head and get a good night’s sleep. The amenities are always clean and well looked after, and the grounds are maintained to a high standard. With a pub nearby in several directions, it’s always easy to find somewhere for a meal. Alternatively, there are local supermarkets nearby if you’d prefer to grab some supplies and make use of the BBQ area. While staying here, I’ve also had the opportunity to chat with a number of the caravaners staying in the park, and they’ve had nothing but glowing reviews about the park as well. It’s clear that a lot of people are very happy to return and stay here regularly. For a work stay, I find this park convenient, comfortable and well maintained. I’ll happily continue staying here whenever I’m working in the area.

Poor site placement and conditions The location is the only redeeming aspect of this park. We were placed next to the dump point, and despite asking for a different site, we were told no one else has ever complained. Unfortunately, the smell from each emptied cassette wafted straight into our caravan, making the stay very unpleasant. The sites themselves were mostly gravel, which didn’t add to the experience. Really disappointing overall.

Overall nice place to stay, budget rooms are not the best but not the worst. Bathrooms could use a little updating but totally fine for a couple days stay. Beds are comfy.
