Siamo rimasti molto colpiti dalla gentilezza e dalla competenza del proprietario Gianni (che è anche una guida) che ci ha dato indicazioni dettagliate sul percorso e sulla storia della via francigena e ci ha trasmesso la passione per la terra in cui vive.
Abbiamo fatto un pezzo della via francigena da San gimignano a Monteriggioni. Molto suggestivo, paesaggio mozzafiato anche se impegnativo!
Le bici sono tecnicamente adatte a superare gli ostacoli.

We had the best time renting bikes from here. O one is our group has rode a bike in years so we opted for the E-bike to help with the hills and that was a fantastic idea! 🚲🚴♀️. We were treated so kindly by the owner Johnny. When we showed up the shop was closed but we called the number listed and he showed up ASAP. We even had a small minor issue with one bike and he drove over to us (also ASAP) and swapped out the tire and we were in the road again! Super affordable and he did not even charge us over time when we dropped them back late. You will love riding through Tuscany and pulling over for lunch and the owner speaks English. Thankfully 🙏. I give him 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars for customer service and for good quality bikes. He also had manual bikes for more skilled riders as well.

Il proprietario super gentile ci ha mostrato vari percorsi da fare . Nel tragitto di ritorno abbiamo avuto un problema causa nostra e nel giro di 20 minuti problema risolto. Prezzo super onesto. Grazie ancora per tutto.

Noleggiare delle e-bike è stato il miglior modo per conoscere questo territorio! Il signor Gianni è stato davvero gentile fin dall’inizio! Abbiamo prenotato le nostre bici in maniera facile e veloce. Quando ci siamo trovati a forare nel bel mezzo del percorso Gianni ci ha raggiunti in pochissimi minuti risolvendo il problema! Grazie ancora per la bellissima giornata! Torneremo!

Our experience with this bike rental shop in Tuscany was, unfortunately, the low point of our trip. We rented four bikes for €240, and while I didn’t break the bike, I was stuck waiting for over four hours while they tried to sort out the situation for someone else in our group. This ordeal completely ruined our day.
After the bike’s chain broke out of nowhere (no crash or mishandling), we called for help. It took about 45 minutes for someone to arrive, which seemed reasonable at first. However, when he got there, instead of asking what happened, he immediately went on the defensive, as if we had done something wrong. He left and returned more than 3 hours later, which was shocking. We expected a quick replacement of the broken bike so we could continue with our day, but instead, he decided to take all of us back, ending our ride prematurely.
The worst part was how dismissive they were throughout the entire process. We tried to communicate with them, even using Google Translate, but it was nearly impossible to get through. When we finally spoke to someone claiming to be the owner, rather than listening, he was rude and placed all the blame on us, accusing us of “misusing” the bike. It was obvious the issue was mechanical, but he wasn’t interested in hearing our side at all. Instead, he tried to charge us more money for the time wasted waiting for their help—an absurd request considering we lost hours of our day.
In the end, we spent 15 minutes riding and over 4 hours waiting, only to be disrespected and told that we were done. Despite this experience being completely out of our control, we were treated terribly. I didn’t receive any refund, and frankly, I think I should have. This was an unacceptable situation, and I hope others avoid this place altogether.
Hi, we are sorry that we can’t post photos here,because during the ride one of the bikes was extremely damaged, for a total of 600€, and we didnt charge anything. This story is not the real one

The only unfortunate experience we had during our trip to Tuscany was renting bikes from this place. We rented four bikes for €240, and about 10 minutes into our ride, one bike’s chain broke—completely out of the blue, no crash, just sudden failure going up a hill after the electricity on the bike just cut out.
We called the bike shop for help, and it took around 45 minutes (understandable) for someone to come check on the bike. When he arrived, he didn’t ask what happened but instead went straight into defense mode. He left, saying he’d be back to sort it out, but we waited over 3 hours (crazy) for his return. When he finally came back, we assumed he’d replace the broken bike and let us enjoy the rest of our day which we paid for, but instead, he told us that we were done and took all of us back, despite none of us doing anything wrong.
Trying to communicate with them was frustrating. We attempted to explain through Google Translate, and eventually, we got on the phone with the “owner” who spoke a bit of English. However, instead of listening to us, he immediately blamed and berated us, claiming the bike issue was due to “misuse.” This was clearly an equipment failure, but he had no interest in hearing our side. To make matters worse, he insisted that we owed more money for the time wasted waiting for their “service,” which was honestly laughable considering we lost half our day and a reservation because of their failures.
In the end, we rode for 15 minutes, waited for 4 hours, and were treated disrespectfully for something that was entirely out of our control. We’ve disputed the charge, and we hope others don’t fall into the same trap. I hate giving bad reviews, but the way this situation was handled was completely wrong and unacceptable.

We had the best time with Gianni, we wish we could stay longer and do it again! Beautiful ride and views, plus a wine tasting and tour of picturesque vineyard with Julia and Leonardo.
