So many choices when it comes to replacing a roof! I had a roof leak last year and called a few companies to check it out. Dave was the only person to address the problem and fixed the leak.. The others insisted I needed a new roof tomorrow. Dave said 3 years probably. After a couple hard rains and seeing shingle sediment in my downspouts I called Dave this early summer. . I didn't want to wait. The process was informative, efficient, fairly priced and positive. Great crew. Clean up as you go. Minor distraction overall. Beautiful result. Extra touches that Dave suggested as part of the deal. Make sure you feed the crew! They work hard!

I have had Dave out for two small roof repairs, and I would easily recommend Eave roofing to anyone! They are very communicative, show up exactly when they say they will, and offer competitive pricing. I especially appreciate how they take the time to take pictures while diagnosing the problem and walk me through all of the steps and the why behind the repairs— it makes me a better homeowner, knowing how all the parts work, and what to look for in the event of a future issue. When I sent a question about a piece of flashing over email, Ellen went above and beyond to explain what was happening and even attached diagrams to show me how everything should look. Do not hesitate to hire them!

Had our house and garage done by Eave this month. Dave and his crew did a fantastic job. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and the pricing was more than fair. I tend to be a little more high-strung than most people when it comes to big home projects, but Dave answered every question with patience, professionalism, and understanding. Ellen & Dave and the crew were all friendly and professional, and they were able to fit me into their schedule quickly (thankfully, since there was a giant hole in the roof). Dave & Ellen are wonderful to work with. The project(new roof, ventilation on house & garage) proceeded in a timely and smooth manner from our initial consult with Dave through completion. We were kept in the loop the whole way.The quote was very reasonable and Dave even added flashing that same day to a couple troublesome areas. The finished results are exactly as we had hoped. I live in a 98 year-old home. It's worth noting, because every issue that arises in a historic home can quickly turn into a much bigger project than you ever imagined. I initially contacted Ellen in late January when I noticed some interior plaster damage (assumed I had a leak somewhere.) Dave quickly came out to inspect, identified the area believed to be causing the issue, and made the repair on the first day the weather cooperated. Three weeks later, the rains came, and I had water dripping into my living room. Dave came back out the next day, which was a Sunday, determined a more extensive repair was needed and completed the work 4 days later. The repair ultimately involved removing original wood trim, replacing sheathing, adding step flashing (which the previous contractor didn't do, likely because it required removing the trim), and replacing the shingles while trying not to damage the surrounding stucco. It was clear that Dave is committed to doing the job right. I know this was a much bigger job than originally anticipated, but Dave was responsive, timely, and very fair in his pricing. It is often a challenge for us old home owners to find service providers that understand the complexities of these old homes, and want to do the work properly so we can preserve them. I would recommend Eave Roofing to anyone needing service, and especially to anyone living in a historic home that wants things done right.

Ellen and Dave worked incredibly well as a team to get the roof replacement done. From the get go, the communication from Ellen was always prompt, detailed and clear. Scheduling the initial assessment was straightforward. Dave came out to take a look on the exterior of the roof and also went into the attic. I was provided with different options and the final price was very reasonable. The work took place 6 weeks after the initial assessment. During the 6-week span, Ellen provided detailed steps on how their team would prep for the day of install. On the day of install, Dave and his crew did a great job and took clear pre and post pictures to demonstrate their work. They also did some repairs on my roof without charging me extra which was much appreciated. They also helped with scheduling the city inspection. Last but not least, the clean-up was thorough and prompt. The whole experience was extremely smooth and professional. We as customers need to support more small family businesses like Eave so they can help others in the community. Thanks again Ellen and Dave!

Dave inspected my roof my roof and I have to say, he is the most trustworthy guy out there. MANY inspectors will haphazardly look at your roof and regardless of its condition will say, "you NEED a new roof immediately, hire me now". Not Dave. He will thoroughly inspect your roof and give an honest opinion, even if it means confirming a roof is in OK shape and consequently losing a sale. I can't urge how important it is to have trustworthy people like Dave in this industry. I would recommend him to my mother, grandmother, or anyone in need of a roof inspection / roof work done.

Eave Roofing recently replaced the roof on our detached garage. They came in at a good price and backed it up with good work! On top of that they were quick to respond to my initial inquiry and to come out to meet with me in person. They were happy to provide me with exactly what I needed and did not try to push anything more on us to drive the price up.
