The service was rescheduled to the next day because the originally assigned cleaner called in sick. The replacement cleaner arrived almost 30 minutes late, and unfortunately, his body odor was extremely strong and made the experience very unpleasant, it didn’t seem like he had washed for some time or used deodorant . He did an acceptable job, but the smell lingered throughout my apartment for hours, and I had to air it out before guests arrived. I also felt sorry for him because he did even not seem to have suitable bag for carrying his things and was taking forever to shove them into an old backpack. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I will not use this business again

I strongly advise against using Easy Clean Amsterdam. I booked a two hour service with two cleaners, which they agreed to and confirmed. However, they arrived late, performed only superficial cleaning, and left after just 45 minutes. When confronted, management claimed that two people working 45 minutes fulfilled the booking, but basic math shows that only equals one and a half hours of total labor. They also failed to bring the promised equipment. Furthermore, the cleaners skipped basic tasks entirely. The spaces underneath the bed, underneath the closets, and sections of the bathroom floor were left completely untouched. This is despite the fact that I have an audio recording specifically instructing them to clean the floors. When I provided timestamped video evidence of the neglected areas, the company made the absurd excuse that sweeping accessible floors is considered a deep cleaning service and not part of a standard clean. Instead of addressing the unfinished work, the company attempted to charge me even more than agreed. When I offered to pay a proportional amount for the 45 minutes they actually worked, they ignored the offer and immediately threatened debt collection. If you sort through the reviews here, you will see that other real customers share my exact experience of poor service. You will also notice many highly suspicious five star reviews utilizing repeating names and identical generic phrases to artificially boost their rating. I possess full documentation of their breach of contract, including both video and audio evidence, and am taking formal legal steps. Save your money and find a legitimate, honest company.

We have carefully reviewed the booking details, our communications, the cleaner’s account, and the completion records. The appointment was booked as a Regular Home Cleaning for two labour hours. Two cleaners attended, so the booked labour time was completed over a shorter elapsed period than it would have been with one cleaner. The team also brought and used its own vacuum cleaner, as requested.

We acknowledge that you disagree with our assessment of the service. However, cleaning was carried out and the invoice for that service remains unpaid. As you have stated that you are pursuing formal legal action, we do not believe it is appropriate to continue debating the matter publicly. We will provide the relevant records and supporting evidence through the proper legal process if required.

We remain committed to treating all customers fairly and handling complaints professionally.

Following your feedback, we immediately reviewed the appointment with the cleaner. At the end of the visit, the property was inspected together and no concerns were raised at the time, so we were surprised to learn afterwards that you were unhappy with the results.

The booking was for a 2-hour standard cleaning service, which focuses on general maintenance cleaning rather than deep-clean restoration of heavily marked surfaces or built-up stains. That said, we always want our customers to be satisfied with the service they receive.
