My experience wasnt as great as most other customers.
Dropped my car on a Tuesday to get it diagnosed, got diagnosed that day and was told it was timing chain needed replacement, it took 2 days to hear back from them to price the job, they got back to me with a real bodgey quote on friday that was EXTREMELY over priced, i ended up picking up my car on Friday but before i walked out the door they offered to do the job for $1580 cheaper then what they quoted which through me off.
I let them know that if the communication was better throughout the process i wouldve let them do it but i was having to chase up what was going on with my car for 2 days without any reply.
Besides these issues everything else was all good.

The team at East City Auto carried out a thorough diagnostic and found the actual cause: the air/fuel mixture was too rich due to a dirty air mass sensor. They cleaned the sensor and its plug connector, and after that, the car ran perfectly. No unnecessary replacements. No upselling. Just skilled, honest diagnosis.
At first, I thought the diagnostic fee was a bit high. But in hindsight, their expertise saved me over $1000 and a lot of stress. It’s a clear example that paying for proper diagnostics from skilled professionals is worth every dollar.
They also found that my battery was running low and gave me honest advice without any pressure.

East City Auto Repairs have been absolutely fantastic with their service, care and attention to detail.
I have had my car serviced by them several times and I am so happy with how my car is running. While car is being serviced you can actually sit and watch them from a viewing room.
The space they have to work is huge. I counted 13 cars that could be housed in the shop floor and attended to by their staff. Peace of mind that they will look after your vehicle whilst in their care.
The shop floor is very clean and tidy. Office and reception areas as well. It goes without saying that the service as well from the staff especially Kiri the manager is awesome. Warm, friendly and very professional. Well done East City Auto.
