Hi, our issue was flicker and dimming of lights plugged into outlets all located in one circuit in our house. I asked Early Bird Electric for a diagnosis of the problem. Sam from Early Bird Electric came out the next day. Actually I was surprised that EBE sent such a young electrician to diagnose the problem.
However Sam seemed very capable and easy to talk to. He listened to me tell him the issues that we were having, solutions we had tried ourselves to fix/find the problem. He thoroughly tested the connections and problem solved. He showed us the damaged circuit breakers and the damaged electronics of the circuit board. He eliminated the danger of fire for the night and he and another electrician came out the next day at 8 am and installed a new circuit board and was done by early afternoon. It was not cheap, but I believe he did a great job.
Hi again, I had to add this to my review. Yesterday I came home from work and found that Sam and the other electrician had moved our large storage shelves that were full of seasonal decorations away from the new circuit pannel. This way when the inspector comes the storage shelves are 3 feet away from the door of the electrical pannel. This was needed to pass inspection. A BIG THANKS to both of them for doing that!!!

I contacted Early Bird Electric as I was experiencing issues with my air conditioner. A technician from MN Energy Resources suggested that I contact an electrician as they ere not able to get power from the panel to the air conditioner.
Early Bird dispatched Mike Miller. Mike was extremely thorough. He checked out the power from outside of my home and from the electrical panel. All power checked out, but he did mention it might be time for a new panel as he would not be able to replace the switch inside the panel. He indicated that the switch was at the end of its life. Mike let me know that the power to the panel from the air conditioner was not the issue and suggested that I call MN Energy Resources as power was not the issue. When the unit was turned on the fan in the air conditioner did not turn. He indicated that this might signal an issue with the fan motor or even a capacitor issue.
I asked Mike to provide me with estimates for a new panel. He provided two one using copper and the other aluminum.
I appreciate the time he took with me explaining all options available to me.
