Thank you very much for your kind feedback, M C. We’re grateful you chose us to take care of your dental needs!
What I value most about this dental office is not only the quality of the service but also the personalized care and genuine interest they shows in their patients. I appreciate how they take the time to explain my options and the seriousness of the situation so I can make informed decisions. The atmosphere is truly relaxing; from a sensory perspective, the music, videos, and even the chair’s ergonomics help me feel comfortable. The dentist, Dr. Ioanna Neinstein, stands out for her great emotional intelligence and kindness, which is reflected in the compassionate and understanding way she treats patients. She, along with the assistant and hygienist, work with gentle movements that minimize any fear, and they always inform me beforehand about what sensations to expect, so nothing comes as a surprise.

We greatly value your opinion, Laura. Thank you very much for the wonderful words and for trusting us as part of your healthcare team. We will always try our best!
I highly recommend Dr. Neinstein and the entire Dupont Dentalworks team!! My whole family began using them several years ago, our neighbors on Campbell switched recently and had a pleasant experience, and now that I have the new universal Sun Life coverage, I switched to using them too.
This is an incredible Dentist's office! My mom was right to rave about their staff. They even helped her home once when her appt ended early (we live just down the street). They take special care to explain everything to you when you don't understand what treatent options or types of appointments there are. They can check ahead of appointments to confirm the approximate amount of insurance coverage you will receive so you have a better billing experience.
From the receptionist to the dentist herself, everyone is kind, patient, and courteous. I have dental anxiety and they are so understanding! 11/10 I will use them for life!

Thank you very much for this great feedback, IM! It's very important to all of us that we treat all our patients with respect and care - the way we do for our beloved ones. We are grateful to be part of this neighbourhood.
Love the whole vibe and the ethos at Dupont Dental works. I have ADHD and have always been super sensitive to touch, cold and pain and any sensory overstimulation ( which is basically all dentistry! ) So it's been a real gift to find a team who are willing to go to any lengths to accommodate my needs, making me feel so comfortable and cared for that though I can't say I'll ever 'look forward' to the Dentists, I can say this is absolutely, hands down the best experience I've ever had in my 61 years! Thanks Dr. Neinstein and the whole team!

Thank you so much for your feedback, Stephen! We greatly appreciate it.
After our long-time dentist retired we relied on the many good reviews here when choosing Dupont Dental as our post-pandemic dentist. We sincerely wish that our experiences matched the glowing reviews; however, that was not the case.
Our first impressions were positive. The reception people were friendly and professional, as were the dental hygienists. But there was something about the services that left us disquieted, though we couldn’t really pinpoint just what was niggling at us.
The assessment examination was certainly thorough, but we were surprised to learn about the number of “small” cavities that were discovered. We attributed this to not having seen a dentist for a few years because of pandemic restrictions. Even though we were facing a lot of visits we wanted to ensure that all was well before embarking on a six month trip to SE Asia. We decided to get most of the suggested work done (more on what we left out later). The total bills exceeded our insurance coverage for the year, which put a considerable dent in our budget.
At the time the work seemed to go well, but it didn’t take long for us to notice issues after we left the country. One of us found the finish on one of the filling to be obtrusive, and the sensitivity “painting” of some exposed roots was rough and had a nasty habit of catching food particles. Worst of all, one filling left a gap near the gum line, resulting in jammed large food particles and considerable pain.
When we contacted the office by email to inquire about the pain the response left a lot to be desired. There was no apology or expression of concern. Nor was there an offer to make things right when we got back to Canada.
Needless to say we were quite upset by this cavalier attitude so we decided to look elsewhere when we arrived home. After we had our records transferred and reviewed by our new dentist the final straw came to light.
During our pre-trip work Dr. Neinstein expressed grave concern about the state of one tooth, insisting that a crown was necessary. Because we had already exceeded our coverage we decided not to go ahead, asking instead if the work could wait until we returned. We were told to monitor the tooth carefully because it was imminently in danger of breakage.
We asked our new dentist to examine this tooth carefully. Imagine our reaction when our new dentist told us explicitly that the tooth in question did not require a crown and that doing so at this stage could cause more problems than it could prevent! He also indicated that many of the small cavities that were filled need not have been since they were of a type that often did not progress and as such could be monitored for any possible future work. This was a sentiment we had heard from two other dentists in the past, but we had assumed that perhaps they had progressed because Dr. Neinstein insisted they needed to be filled.
On reflection we feel that many of the services recommended and completed were not necessary, and the recommended crown was most definitely a significant “upsell”.
As such we cannot recommend Dupont Dental.
We find the response of the business owners to this review disappointing. We must clarify that our review reflects our genuine experience with their practice. Rather than an empathetic response to honest feedback, the “scenerio”is being questioned. The review and reply speak for themselves and we won’t be contacting these offices again.
