Outstanding Experience!
Seth noticed some damaged shingles while driving by our home and left his business card on the door with a note. I followed up and had him come out to do a full inspection. My roof is in good shape except for the damaged shingles. He did a quick repair and caulked a few lifted shingles. It’s refreshing to find someone that is honest, reputable, and trustworthy. I know who I’ll call when I need a new roof.

My experience with Justin Sherwood and DT Roofing goes back over 5 years. After a major wind and hail storm, Justin and DT replaced my roof, repaired a pergola, fence and small gazebo, did some signican structural things including placing a lovely hand hammered chimney cap on my chimney. The labor, the beauty of the results, the timing were all done efficiently, ans smoothly....including dealing with my insurance company.
Soon after the job was done, I began to have problems with my propane fireplace...it took one company replacing a burner and another doing a chimney sweep and chimney inspection before the realization that the subcontractor who replaced the chimney cap for DT had removed an integral part of the chimney exhaust system which the fireplace company replaced.
When I called Justin at DT, even though there work was out of warranty, they offered to pay for the part their sub had removed.
They stand behind their work and handle everything beautiful.

If you are thinking about a new roof, do yourself a huge favor and contact James Marcum at DT Roofing. Like most of you, I was dreading the re-roofing experience, but James and DT made it almost pleasurable. James epitomizes excellent customer service, as he stays in constant communication with you each step of the way. He handles all the difficult communication with the insurance company, thereby reducing your stress and aggravation. On two occasions, while we were waiting for my insurance company to approve the repair estimate, he personally placed protective tarps on my roof to protect against damage due to forecast storms.
Five stars does not seem adequate as my new roof is the envy of the neighborhood, and is beyond my wildest expectations. The quality is unmatched, and the workmanship is superb. I am convinced that these results are the result of the combined expertise of DT Roofing and their employee, James Marcum. Do not use anyone else!

Excellent! Jacob was easy to work with and kept me updated throughout the process. They contracted Guardian to do my gutters, who did a great job! Matched my garage door and trim perfectly. Were even able to work around my roof outline which has a weird gap in the front. Highly recommend!

From the day that Derek Tanner returned my phone call, to the day the roof was inspected, I experience nothing but kind care and respect for my property. During the spring storms of '25, my roof received damage enough to require a new roof. As a single senior citizen, recently widowed, I was so uncomfortable with this task. Derek assigned James Marcum to my project. James arrived exactly on time to meet with me and my insurance inspector, making sure that everything was 100% agreeable. Many times during the project James called or came by my home to explain the next steps in the project, who would be coming and when. If I had concerns about anything, James was just one text away. James also kept my son updated on the stages of the project. There were several instances when my insurance company sent questionable messages to me, and James intervened for me to secure the best results. One of the points I really appreciated was the quote James brought me the first time was what I paid! There were never questions about the integrity or sincere care and excellence of quality of DT Roofing. This was a new learning experience for me, but helped me gain confidence is caring for repairs on my home by a company of excellence.

I have used DT several times over the years, However this last time 2025 very poor workmanship, We picked up a quart size jar of nails and still finding them. After completing the roof repair they were preparing to leave i had to tell them to put the saltilite dish back up on the roof. no supervision show up till two weeks after job completed to check work and if it was done right. we will probably not use DT Roofing in the future. Also after arriving at my home one of the employees jumped over my back fence and ran out across the field ? don't know why. the whole experience was not very professional.
