Changed the appointment without notifying us and then said we were late for the appointment, so they canceled the appointment. Wouldn't recommend to come here and the staff didn't take any responsibility for the mess.

Brilliant caring helpful dental

I went for a hygiene appointment and was seen by a dental hygienist. From the start, I felt uncomfortable because of some strange and inappropriate comments. She asked where I was from because of my accent, then said, “I didn’t guess you were French because of your accent, but because of your skin colour.” As a Black woman, I found this very shocking and unprofessional.
During the appointment, she kept making comments that made me feel judged and uncomfortable. Because I didn’t know some dental words, she told me, “You clearly don’t speak English very well,” and then said, “You must only speak with French people.” I’ve lived and worked in the UK for over three years and never had any problems like this before.
She also said things like, “It looks like you haven’t looked after your teeth in five years,” and “There must be a lot of diseases in your mouth.” These words were very rude and made me feel embarrassed. She didn’t explain things clearly or try to be kind—just criticised me.
At the end, she told me I should stop spending money on restaurants and use it for my teeth instead. That was completely inappropriate—she doesn’t know how I live or spend my money.
When I told her I felt very uncomfortable, she just said I should have stopped her if I wasn’t happy. She didn’t really listen or understand why I felt bad.
Thankfully, other people at the practice were kind and understood that something went wrong. I don’t want to judge everyone there, but I cannot recommend this place, especially if this hygienist keeps speaking to patients this way. People should feel safe, respected, and supported at the dentist—not judged or shamed.
Great surgery. I was booked for following working day in the morning and crown was done in just 2 hours perfectly nice. So happy with all treatment which was not overpriced at all....
Great hygienist appointment. Sarah Alnaho was lovely, friendly, and did the clean with care. She first asked about my toothcare habits. She explained everything that was going to happen throughout the clean, as it was my first appointment with a hygienist there.
Took the time to explain aftercare too, as in proper brushing form and habits to adopt to maintain my healthy teeth.
