Effective Treatment of Facet Syndrome I waited until four months post op to write my review so I could be sure I’m getting the full benefit of Dr. Mork’s treatment. Dr. Mork performed facet debridement on several levels of my thoracic spine. Now that the swelling has gone down I feel a great deal of pain relief. I no longer feel like I have a knife constantly sticking me in the back where the facets are located. I am not 100% pain-free; I expected that given his previous results, which he is very honest about. I do have times when I am pain-free, and expect to get better as I continue to learn my limits post surgery. I really appreciated the attention to detail pre-, during and post op. The nurses and all staff were great and tried their best to make the experience as stress-free as possible. I’m seriously considering going back for the same issue in my C-spine. I don’t think I would trust anybody else to do this surgery. Dr. Mork invented it and is the best at it. I definitely encourage anyone with facet syndrome to contact his office if you are considering surgery. I have had both injections and facet ablation previously, and none of them provided the long lasting relief of this surgery. I think it is a very good alternative to the currently available treatments. Hopefully more doctors will start performing this kind of treatment but until then Dr. Mork is your best bet. Given the desperate need for better treatments for facet syndrome, he is performing a very valuable service here and I hope it continues to be available to those that need it.

The results were beyond my expectations — I literally walked out of the recovery room after both surgeries. My symptoms disappeared almost instantly, and the entire experience was so smooth that it barely felt like I had undergone surgery at all. This is my third back surgery, but first with Dr. Mork. And let me tell you what a difference him and his team made. Just amazing. A miracle worker. I had IMMEDIATE relief. Couldn't believe it. Dr. Mork changed my life. I had so little pain and so much more mobility that I was ready to go for a jog the day after the procedure, which was a microdiscectomy. Of course I didn't go for a jog, but I could walk 1/2 a mile without stopping whereas before the surgery I could barely walk 100 yards before having to bend over to relieve the pain before carrying on for another 100 yards. No more of that! When I left LA 3 days after the surgery I was blown away that I could stand in line at the airport without pain and walk all over the airport completely pain free. Thank you Dr. Mork!

I have to start by letting everyone know that I researched arthroscopic spine surgery through AI and other resources and hands down, Dr Mork has SO MUCH EXPERIENCE, great reviews, and is top notch in his field as a pioneer of less evasive spine surgery! He even helped with the design of the tools used to do this. I am very impressed with the extensive diagnostic testing, too. Let's face it, if you don't know where the pain is coming from you won't know what to fix! Dr Mork and staff of experts know how to pin point exactly where the pain is stemming from, thus being able to work on the appropriate disc. I have not had surgery yet, but will be going in Aug 19 for 3/4 & 4/5 discectomy. He concluded I have spinal tears at both levels. I am thrilled to be getting this done and excited to move on with a more productive and less painful life! I will follow up with updated review post surgery to let you know how it goes. I feel 100% confident in this and cannot wait for this day to come! Also a great big shout out for his amazing team that made me feel safe getting some relatively evasive procedures done. Jamie is a DOLL and also got insurance to pay (Blue Shield of CA)! The whole staff is beyond amazing and put me at ease. Easy Peasy!!! Thank you for your care and expertise, Team Mork!

I had a L4/L5 bulging disc from a deadlift that caused significant sciatic pain when sitting or sleeping. The pain was so bad I gave up socializing and couldn't sleep. Coming from Canada, my surgeon was only able to do a microdisectomy and the wait time could have been years. After an agonizing and frustrating year into the process I couldn't stand the pain and looked at options in the states. Dr. Morks reputation stood out for his ability to do an endoscopic discectomy and so many successful surgeries. He did a consult with me on the phone and it was clear right away how knowledgeable and passionate he was about his work. It was nice that he wasn't pushy like some of the other surgeons I had a consult with. 6 weeks post surgery the scar is barely visible unless I point it out and the pain is entirely gone. It's been over a year since the deadlift and I feel like I have my life back!

WOW…what can I say? The scale doesn't go any higher than 5! Dr. Tony Mork and his staff are the most professional, competent and courteous people one could ever hope to meet. And his results compliment his knowledge and experience. Being a farmer and encountering lower lumbar back problems for over 10 years, having tried most known remedies available in Canada (e.g. epidural injections, PRP (protein rich plasma injections) and RFA (radio frequency ablations), I was at the end of my search and taking hydromorphone 3x daily to address the pain. I came across Dr. Mork’s video on “What I learned from 8000 Surgeries” and I was convinced to proceed in this direction. From the onset, I have never been treated to such wonderful assistance starting with his Assistant Jamie Mayernick as she guided me through the process and to completion. The staff at Foothills Surgical Center in Lake Forest, CA were fabulous. The two surgeries I had (firstly a Discogram which confirmed Dr. Mork’s suspicion being my L4/5 and L5/S1 discs compromised) and the second surgery of an endoscopic lumbar discectomy at L4/L5 and a lumbar intradiscal injection at L5/S1, went without any issues for me. Dr. Mork extended his caring demeanor by visiting me at my hotel the next day and outlining my recovery process. 6-8 weeks to know whether the surgery was successful and 6-8 months for rehab (very trying for a farmer…LOL) before re-entering light activities. It has been 2 1/2 weeks post-op and acknowledging the post-op pain, I do not feel any of the ‘old’ pain that once was 24/7. At this date, at least to me, I know this surgery was a success. And I cannot thank enough Dr. Mork and his team for making this happen to me. I’ll be forever grateful. The picture shows the material (disc fragments) removed from L4/L5 disc. It almost filled the entire inner disc and Dr. Mork indicated this was the cause of my pain. (it is bluish/green due to dye from discogram). A recovering and very grateful Canadian Farmer! Fusion recommended for cervical stenosis. Chose instead endoscopic procedure by Dr. Tony Mork at the Bonita Springs facility. Dr. Mork and staff and facility staff were all excellent! Professional, personal and caring. And cured my stenosis! I no longer have arm numbness/weakness and can turn my head all directions. Would highly recommend!

While I did not end up choosing to move forward with surgery with Dr Mork, it was strictly because of finances. If I had the finances I would’ve gone forward. Dr Mork was incredibly nice, understanding, answered all questions without pressuring or rushing me at any point. Even our phone consultation he never once rushed me and the call didn’t end until I was ready. Jamie was incredibly fast in answering any questions and would respond within a day to my multiple calls and questions. She reassured all concerns of mine as well. Compared to traditional surgical approaches, I do think his prices are appropriate despite my ability to afford it. So overall Dr Mork and Jamie his scheduler and assistant were wonderful! Dr Mork was even willing to move my surgery up that wasn’t easy in regards to his personal life. While that’s never a guarantee, the fact he was willing said A LOT about how much he cares about people not just locked in clients financially.

Dr. Mork saved me. I was in excruciating pain constantly and my right arm felt like is was going to explode from the pressure I was feeling. I am 4 weeks after surgery and I can sleep through the night and should be able to get back to my normal routine in the next few months. I spoke to many surgeons through my exhaustive search to figure out what to do. You have to sit down with Dr. Mork and just listen to his approach and you won't be disappointed. Dr. Mork is an amazing doctor, one of a kind infact. I was hesitant to go in but after speaking with a few of the people who've left testimonials, I'm convinced Dr. Mork can figure out what's going on. I just had a phone consultation and I've scheduled an in-person consultation after speaking with him. I believe he wants to do further diagnostic testing, but I'm excited to get started! I've been dealing with excruciating pain for years and after a failed back surgery. Dr. Mork is optimistic but wants further diagnostics run just to be certain, which is assuring in itself.

When every other surgeon was basically writing me off as a complainer, and just wanted to prescribe me pain killers, bouncing from specialist to specialist I had basically had enough and decided to search out of network. I found Dr. Mork and after one conversation I knew he was the surgeon I needed. I went in for a diagnosis. And instead of writing me off after looking at the MRI, unlike everyone else I spoke to, he suggested a dye injection into the disc where I was experiencing the pain. A little apprehensive, I decided to do it. And glad I did! We found an annular tear was causing my pain after a CT scan visibly showed it. I'm honestly amazed by the knowledge Dr. Mork has and glad I'm scheduled for surgery next week! I'll update my review after the procedure, but couldn't contain my excitement!

Approximately six weeks ago, I had Endoscopic Spine Surgery performed by Dr. Tony Mork. From the moment I met him, Dr. Mork was amazing. He explained my condition in specific detail and took the time to answer all of my many questions. I was so confident going into surgery as a result of the time he invested in me and my case. When I woke up from surgery, the pain I had been experiencing for years was "gone" and I mean "GONE"! Sure, I had some post surgical pain but nothing that I had suffered with for so long. I no longer felt the agonizing and debilitating pain I had suffered with for so long. Dr. Mork truly gave me a new lease on life. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and has been blessed with an amazing talent that he has chosen to help myself and so many others with. His assistant, Jamie, is a true gem! Not only is she pleasant, but she is extremely patient and efficient in handling her duties. I highly recommend Dr. Mork for anyone who is experiencing spinal issues and/or those like me, who have exhausted all else and are on the verge of giving up. I am six weeks post-op and both Dr. Mork and Jamie continue to follow up with me. I wish I had been introduced to Dr. Mork years ago, but am extremely grateful to him and Jamie for literally giving me my life back. I never felt like I was rushed during our phone call and ended the call with all questions answered and a plan in action to get to the bottom of my back pain.

He called Me the day of the appointment on time and it was like I was talking with a good old friend.
