I've been taking both my dogs here for over a year now and they are absolutely wonderful! My dogs are both quite large anxious boys, all the staff go out of their way to accommodate us and care for them, showering them with love and attention as well as being really kind to me when navigating tough news etc.
Dr paws has been amazing to us during the hardest part of being a pet owner. My cat we rescued 7 years ago has been diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive cancer and he is currently on palative care, the staff have been absolutely amazing and supportive and have been very helpful with my financial difficulties. Im forever grateful for all their help, love and support during such a hard time in our lives. I honestly couldnt recommend a better vet.
Have been having issues with my cat dash who suddenly appeared to have gone blind over the course of a week or so, and had slowly started to become lethargic, frustrated, and slightly distant. I called this clinic due to being close to home so as to not further stress dash out with a car ride, the great reviews on Google is what prompted me to contact once advised by his normal vet to seek help asap. I was seperated from the main waiting room so dash wouldn't fret further from the strange sounds and smells surrounding him, we were seen to very attentively with much care and empathy.

Adrian has been our Vet for our past two dogs, he has always provided us with nothing but positive and helpful feedback. Even when it was time to say goodbye to them he was there with his loving help and support.
We have known Adrian for the past 10 years and he has always provided written information of what his reccomendations are for treatment. The course of medication he recomends aswell as an action plan moving forward.
This is perfect for someone like me, when no sooner do I leave their clinic, I’ve forget half of what he has told me. I have never been more comfortable than to bring our dogs to Dr Paws Clinic on Anakei Rd and I would highly reccomend them to everyone.
So it wasn’t even a second thought for me to take my Son and Daughters rescue dog to him, (Am Staff X Ridge back) Boss, immediately fell in love with Adrian. He was comfortable and relaxed not anxious or unsettled like he usually is with vets (we were in consult for atleast 30mins)
All he wanted to do was cuddle with Adrian, we were very surprised as we have never seen him that way with a vet ever! Usually he’s start performing crying and dragging us out the door the minute the vet walks in.
That says a lot when a dog can be so calm and relaxed like that with anyone.
I’ve always believed you know you can truly trust a person if your dog does. We do trust our dog in the care of the vets at this Clinic especially Adrian.

This Vet Clinic deserves all their 5 star reviews. The Vets take the time to explain everything and never rush you out the door. The nurses are the same, very helpful and you get the feeling they are caring for your precious pet like they are their own furkids. Reception staff also go out of their way to make your life easier and check that any questions you may have are answered clearly. Apart from their many patients they also support the rescue groups. They will deal with the rescue group directly which as a foster carer is wonderful as we don't have to get caught up in all the paperwork etc Dr Paws is an all round wonderful practice. They are a 45 minute drive from us but well worth it.
The service today was disappointing. The vet was waiting, but the admin team seemed busy talking behind the drug room. Meanwhile, my already-nervous dog was left hyperventilating and shaking for about 10 minutes before being seen. I was very worried he might urinate on the floor from the stress. For this level of service, I don’t feel it is reasonable to be charged over $350.00.
