I can’t speak highly enough of this vet. He does house calls, which makes everything so much less stressful, my dogs and cats get so stressed out going to the vets that this makes all our lives easier and he is genuinely amazing. He’s caring, patient, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly so you feel completely comfortable with what’s going on. You can tell he truly loves what he does, he has such a lovely nature with the animals and with people. He always follows up after visits to check how things are going, which really shows how much he cares. He isn’t more expensive either, I can’t recommend him enough it was life changing for my pets having him come to us. If you’re looking for a vet who goes above and beyond, he’s the one. Absolutely 10/10.

Dr Mac, is kind, caring and compassionate. He helped up over the last few months to help our elderly dog manage his arthritis. Total cat whisperer I contacted Dr Mac as my cat Albus has anxiety amongst other health issues and he was very distressed going to the vwt clinic. Dr Mac is very skilled with anxious pets. He came in to my home and we talked about Albus's medical history for a while. He waited a while before examining Albus so he could adapt to him being in his space. He gave a thorough diagnosis and suggested different medications such as the appetite stimulant as a cream to be rubbed into his ears, which has worked well with improving his appetite the last few days. He also managed to give him a b12 injection with a tiny needle that is normally used for kittens. In my last trip to the vet clinic, Albus was too distressed for the vet to examine his abdomen so I was pleasantly surprised!

Wow!! What a wonderful empathetic person who just loved my two girls and animals in general. And my two dogs loved Dr Mac. Even my rescue dog, who needs a little more time to have a ‘stranger’ touch and approach her, just loved him and was totally comfortable with his presence and care. Thanks so much Dr Mac for making what is generally a traumatic experience for her once a year, ( and me ) a calm, caring and surprisingly good one. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. 🙏🏻

I suspected our adopted cat had a bladder infection but her high anxiety made vet trips very stressful for her. I am so glad to have found Dr Mac who does home visits. His calm demeanor and gentle approach was amazing. He confirmed the bladder infection, supplied the necessary medication and also made a treatment plan for her anxiety and weight issues. The whole consult was unrushed and stress free. We've since had a follow up visit for the anxiety and weight issues and to address toileting outside the litter tray. His advice has been spot on and over time all issues are now resolved. I highly recommend Dr Mac and will definitely continue to seek his care in the future.

What a great experience I had with Dr Mac My beloved Valentine is an older cat and was off colour for about a week Dr Mac came with his loving and patient approach Valentine has bounced back with in a couple of days and purring again very happily. Mac was amazing, caring and understanding when coming out to the house to help us lay to rest our beautiful cat Keiko. She was old and hated the cat carrier so a trip to the vet would have been terrifying for her. Mac came to our home and she fell asleep in her favourite spot in the sun with us around her. I can highly recommend Dr. Mac as a very compassionate vet. He changed appointments around as our GSD dog Boomer had a massive stroke after midnight and needed to be uthenised ASAP. His kindness in our trauma was much appreciated. He also arranged for Boomers ashes to be returned to us. We can't thank him enough.
