Dr Diaz was INCREDIBLE!! I got a breast augmentation and shopped around for surgeons for a while and when I met him i immediately knew he was my guy. I came to Dr. Diaz for liposuction after struggling for years with stubborn fat around my midsection that wouldn't budge (even with consistent training and ...inconsistent dieting). I wasn't looking for anything dramatic - just a cleaner, leaner, more defined look. Dr delivered exactly that. The consultation was straightforward and honest, which I appreciated, a lot. Recovery was easier than I expected and the results are subtle but noticeable in the best way. Clothes fit better, I feel more confident at the gym, and it all still looks completely natural. Lovely experience with Dr. Diaz and his team. Very caring and professional. I did a lot of research before going deciding on my surgeon. The moment I met with Dr. Diaz, knew I could trust him. I am now 3 months post op, aside from the scheduled follow ups, I reached out whenever I had questions and they were very responsive! Cannot recommend him enough. I was honestly nervous going in - I wanted an improvement but didn't want to look “done”. Dr. Diaz understood exactly what I meant! READ THIS BEFORE GETTING A RHINOPLASTY!
I want to start by saying Dr.Diaz has an amazing team. The nurses, front desk & anesthesiologist were nothing short of amazing. Dr. Diaz was great in the beginning & so excited & confident in the results he could perform for my rhinoplasty. I understand the risks involved with plastic surgery & that results may vary, Diaz made that very clear & I still proceeded with the surgery because he gave me confidence & reassurance. I had my surgery done in March of 2024. I LOVED my results at first!! I noticed very quickly that I couldn’t breathe out of my nose at all & that the shape was changing on the outside. I reminded myself of the swelling & how ur nose can take a yr or more to completely heal. But as months & even 1 yr approached, I still couldn’t breathe. So I finally go in for my 1 yr post op to see Diaz & address my concerns. Each time I had to go in person I had to drive 5 hours from Las Vegas. He was aware of my concerns over the phone & didn’t seem upset at this point & wanted to see me in person. So April 2025 I went in for my 1 yr post op in person. I am extremely disappointed with how Dr. Diaz handled this. When I went in for my surgery, it was nothing but excitement & smiles from him. When I informed him of all my concerns in person & the results I wasn’t happy with he was extremely RUDE, dismissive & passive aggressive. He even told me “well your nose isn’t going to be smooth like a wall” when I complained about all the bumps/growths on my bone. He was so rude that the nurse in the room had to apologize on his behalf when he stepped out. I truly wasn’t trying to come off disrespectfully when I voiced my concerns but I clearly struck a nerve & made him very upset. His rude comments & lack of bedside manner just really threw me off from our previous interactions! He has made absolutely NO effort to help fix my nose & my biggest problem is that I STILL CANNOT BREATHE! I might have tiny windows of small amounts of air passing through but for the most part I have been mouth breathing. This is affecting my sleep, workouts & just day to day life. He told me we’d have to send a pre auth to my insurance again to see what they said & we would go from there. I’ve been emailing and calling the billing department or whatever third party they use since April 2025 & it’s now November 2025. His office also billed my insurance over 100k for the rhinoplasty which I never approved of. I only consented to the septioplasty to be billed to my insurance because it was a medical need as my septum was deviated. Dr.Diaz has made zero effort to reach out & apologize for the interaction & clearly doesn’t care about the bad outcome that his patient had. I’m disappointed & extremely upset. Not only is my profile messed up & I can’t breathe, but now I have to pay a very hefty price to have a revision elsewhere. The person who recommended Diaz to me had to have their nose redone twice. So a total of 3 surgeries by Dr.Diaz. He was more than happy to do them for her so I’m confused on why he’s made no effort to make this right with me. I think his breast augmentations are beautiful but the rhinoplasty area needs work & it’s not only my nose that proves that. Notice how he doesn’t show any angles on inside the nose post op. It’s because the septum and sinuses get screwed up. All the pictures I’m posting here are POST OP so u tell me if it looks like a 15k nose job to u. There are pinches, major bumps in the bone & it’s majorly crooked. The inside of my nose is collapsed & completely swollen shut. Please be very careful when choosing a surgeon for rhinoplasty, if they make a mistake make sure they at least have the integrity to make things right. His front desk also said they’d send his notes and all the pics they took & still haven’t. I’ve asked 4 times! There’s so much more I want to say but can only write so much here. Just be wise in who you choose.

Hello Brittney. I am very sorry you are not happy. Although every top rhinoplasty surgeon tries to make sure everyone heals exactly the way we want, there are factors we can't sometimes control, and there will be occasional cases where the airflow is restricted or the tip drops slightly. I met with you and discussed these issues with you numerous times, and always listened carefully to your concerns and tried to address everything I could. My notes from your last visit confirmed that I discussed all of your concerns and even offered different options to try to improve them. I am saddened to hear that you thought I was rude or dismissive, since this is the very opposite of how I am. Just look at all of the hundreds of 5 star reviews across the platforms which confirm the consistency of the care and attention I always provide to patients. Unfortunately, when a patient is unhappy, it often influences the way they perceive the doctor and even when the doctor is nice, they interpret every word and action in a negative way. I have a feeling this is what is happening in your case. Having said that, the pictures and description you provided are not accurate representations of what is going on. For example, in one picture you point to a collapsed sinus, but the actual sinuses are not located anywhere near that area. Sinuses are contained inside the skull and are not visible from the outside. The lighting is uneven, which exaggerates an asymmetry you had before surgery and which persists after surgery. This is normal and was explained to you before surgery and at every visit. I am sorry you have difficulty breathing. This is a very frustrating problem and is caused by the fact that the nose is made smaller. Some people experience decreased airflow because of the smaller size, and this is frustrating. This is especially true in people who have deviated septums, as you did before surgery. I offered you options to improve it, but you did not want to follow up. We always provide records when patients ask for them. We are completely digital and can print records on the spot. If you would like your records, we are more than happy to provide those. We use a 3rd party billing company, we do not bill insurance companies ourselves. They billed your insurance company because you asked for this. Rhinoplasty means "reshaping (plasty) of nose (rhino)." This includes all parts of the nose, including the septum. Therefore it includes septoplasty. This is a routine and is nothing out of the ordinary. The amounts billed are not determined by us, and have to do with the algorithms billing companies and insurance companies use to determine payments. What is actually paid is usually a tiny fraction of what is requested, which is why so many doctors stop accepting insurance plans. We did this for your benefit, not ours. I always go above and beyond for my patients and always strive to create the best results possible. If someone is not completely satisfied, I always try my best to help them and provide the best care. I am sorry you feel differently, but the hundreds of 5 star reviews across google, yelp etc all confirm what I am saying. It is why I have the reputation I have for excellence in care and results. As someone who works in healthcare I'm very particular about choosing a surgeon. Dr. Diaz impressed me with his technical expertise, clear communication and evidence-based approach. My procedure required precision and attention to detail, but the outcome was flawless - minimal scarring, balanced proportions and a smooth recovery. I'd recommend him without hesitation.
