From the moment we first spoke to Doreen, we knew we wanted our F1 Savannah to come from her. As veterinarians, it's refreshing to find someone who is as knowledgeable and experienced as she is about her breeding program. So my wife and I have a question as we are going to be getting a F1 from Doreen.
So as your kittens grow have you walked them much outside?
How was litter box training going?
How do they do if you are gone for part of the day and they are home alone?
Do they use their front claws alot..ie..scratching furniture?

I just got my first F1 savannah, Kiba, from Doreen at Drinkwater Cats and I couldn’t be more pleased! I had wanted an F1 for many years so when I was finally able to get one I did a lot of research on breeders and Doreen did not disappoint. It is clear that she truly loves these cats and puts a lot of hard work into breeding them. She’s very knowledgeable and a lovely person and Kiba is amazing! Doreen is an incredible breeder. Her level of knowledge about the breed and proper care is incredible. There is so much misinformation from different breeders/websites out there, and talking with Doreen makes it clear she is the real deal- she cuts right through all the misconceptions and gives you the benefit of her YEARS of experience. Her ranch is incredible, and her pedigree is on point. She breeds beautiful kittens, and we couldn't be happier. At the end of the day, we still probably can't even appreciate all the things she does to get the kittens ready to go home, but the end result is healthy, happy, beautiful kittens. If you're considering a Savannah, definitely reach out to her. *Note she does usually have a wait list, so I would recommend some pre-planning- if you need to wait, it's well worth the investment in time.

Symba is cuddling with me in his dreamland while I finally have a moment. He has been such an energetic and sweet boy since he arrived home. Doreen's Drinkwater Cats are one of the most experienced breeders for Savannah cats. I had been searching Savannah breeders since early 2017. There are very few qualified breeders specialized in F1 babies because F1s are RARE. Doreen is super knowledgeable and has enthusiasm about what she is doing. It was such an unforgettable afternoon visiting the catterry and seeing her stunning servals. The first moment she introduced our baby cat to us, all I wanted to say was "Thank you! It's worth waiting for such a precious baby cat". Doreen was so considerate that she let us bring home his baby elephant stuffed animal toy! If you are ready for your Savannah cat, I highly recommend Drinkwater.
