For the past ten years, I have been dreaming of a tummy tuck. Unfortunately, my dream was put on hold. I was in a life altering car accident, which left me with multiple surgeries and 65 pounds heavier. A.
Few years ago, I made a consultation with Top Plastic Surgeon Dr. Z. Gerut. I was greeted with a security intercom asking who I was, then buzzed in. Immediately, I was greeted with a warm smile from office management. I felt such a sense of relief. I already knew this was the place I needed to be. I had my consultation. It's the first time I experienced honesty. I needed to lose weight. He explained to me kindly why I wasn't a good candidate at this time. 3 years later, I lost 65 pounds. I was greeted again with the same warmth smiles. I was approved for surgery and booked that day. I had a tummy tuck, liposuction,thigh lift,and fat transfer. It's not even 2 weeks post-op. If I look this Amazing now, I can't wait for the summer. He's truly a gifted plastic surgeon. I am also thankful for those warm smiles from 3 years ago that made my decision that much easier.

I don’t know which trait Dr Gerut and his team have in greater proportions: skill or kindness. I was so impressed with his surgical expertise and up-to-date medical knowledge as well as by the comprehensive and consistent display of patience, kindness and generosity from the consultation session to the follow-up care. And this is an approach that reverberates throughout the entire practice from the office manager Mindy and physician’s assistant Jessica to the receptionist Olivia and the interns. I’m a very proactive patient, and therefore, I had lots of questions, all of which were answered in detail. To learn more, I researched all that I had been told about the procedures I was having, the best approach to use and what to expect. So, I was very reassured that there were no inconsistencies between the medical literature I read and the information that I had been given. I have had several surgeries before, but this was my first time having cosmetic procedures. Therefore, to experience this type of attention to detail and a level of attentiveness to me personally that borders on affection was extremely comforting. This culture of kindness at the Gerut practice manifests itself in so many ways. The anesthesiologist checked in with me on the eve of my procedure as well as did Dr Gerut himself. The first follow-up call I received was during the evening after my surgery rather than merely waiting until the following day -- although I was contacted then too. My results are so natural that no one could pinpoint exactly why my appearance was so improved. So many people exclaimed, “ Wow, you really look great! Did you lose weight? What is your secret?” Although my procedure was last year, I am STILL receiving these types of compliments! Dr. Gerut encourages patients to bring in a photo of yourself from the past, and I did. He looked at it and told me that he could restore and rejuvenate my appearance to that time in my life over 10 years ago, and he did just that! This was the best money I ever spent; so glad I decided to invest in myself and especially glad that I chose Dr. Gerut!

The staff at Dr. Gerut's office is wonderful! When I had my consultation with Dr. Gerut well over a year ago I felt he understood my concerns and took me seriously as a young woman, 20 years old at the time, who had an insecurity. He uses his own anesthesiologist and equipment ensuring no matter your age/background you're receiving the best of the best. You can tell the staff really cares about you as the patient which makes you especially on surgery day extremely comfortable before and after the procedure and even after hours.
Dr. Gerut and Jess are extremely knowledgable and recommend only the best ways to go about resolving your concerns while also making recommendations to prevent you from possibly having another procedure or touch up in the future.
Jess is everything!!! If after a procedure I am unsure of something she will FaceTime me and reassure that everything is normal and I'm doing my post op care correctly. Everyone there is so sweet and kind making your experience pleasant and something to look back on positively! They are the only cosmetic/plastic surgeon I will recommend to people as they truly are the best ones out there.

I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Gerut through a colleague of mine. I was eager to have some work done and had been to several plastic surgeons for consultation's. To say that NONE of them made me feel as comfortable and confident as Dr. Gerut did, is such an understatement! I left his office knowing that he was the best and obvious choice for what i wanted to have done. After a very successful neck lift, i decided to have my arms done as well. Needless to say, Dr. Gerut was the only person i would have considered. Both of my surgeries have turned out so much better than i could have imagined, without changing my appearance and making me feel so much better about myself. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Gerut and would recommend him so highly for anyone looking to do plastic surgery. He is simply the best!!

Dr G IS THE BEST ! Very patient and kind with you even when your ADHD kicks in :). He doesn’t try to convince you that you need anything. He is quite the opposite. Listens to YOU wants and needs and then guides you through The ladies couldn’t be any kinder and knowledgeable .. they make Dr. G get his work DONE.
We had a wonderful experience with him. He really takes the time, both during surgery and after, to make sure you get the desired outcome. He's very reachable for any questions, he has a great bedside manner, his staff is great, and he has good follow-up after surgery. In short, we're very happy we used him!

I was very happy with the outcome of my face lift surgery conducted by Dr. Gerut and his team. Special thank you to his surgical assistant, Karina, who stayed with me during post operation night at the facility. She was beyond professional , caring and supportive. She provided me with so needed care and education regarding post operation self care that I can recommend everyone who chooses to stay over night post surgery to request her as your surgical assistant .
There’s nothing to improve here! I met with Dr. Gerut about 10 yrs ago for myself and now recently with my daughter, and both experiences were perfection . He is super informative and answers all your questions. His staff is also very kind and helpful and the results are the best you can expect. They take a lot of care from before surgery until several weeks post op and you never feel rushed or like another number. Very happy with both our experiences
Unbelievable experience! Let’s start off with the surgery and results… in 2021 I went in for a nose job consultation and immediately felt relaxed and in good hands. Dr guert was so honest when consulting me on what nose looks good with my face rather giving me the typical plastic surgery nose. Surgery went so smoothly and painless! I hardly had any bruising and I had alot of work done on my nose. I thought I would have been bruised all under my eyes, but I wasn’t! Everyone says my nose looks so natural!!!
A few months later, after extensive research on tummy tucks, I went back for a consultation with Dr Guert. After speaking to several doctors and checking out everyone’s work. I decided that was dumb, Dr guert is the best! I then scheduled my second procedure with him and committed to a tummy tuck and lipo. I am beyond happy with the results! He even removed a tattoo from when I was 16 years old! I swear this man has gentle hands because I thought it would have hurt more than the pain I was in. I’m still not fully recovered and I get complements left and right.
And I can not say thank you enough to Mindy the office manager who always greets you with a smile and so helpful. Also calming my nerves. This office is so honest with everything that it made me at ease! And I LOVE JESS! she helps you before and after surgery on site and answers all my crazy neurotic text messages to make sure I’m doing everything right. She is so gentle and kind when removing stitches and bandages even when I’m a big baby for no reason. Again, the staff makes you feel so comfortable and like you know them for years.
This office is top notch. Ladies, because a doctor is making reels and promoting on Instagram that doesn’t mean they are good. I love how private this practice is and not commercial.
