Cannot recommend this company enough. We had our kitchen renovated early last year and were so happy with the communication, quality and service that we proceeded with new benchtops and cupboard doors in our bathrooms. Then this year we decided that we also needed to modernise our laundry and knew that we would go straight back to DDK to get a new bench top and installation of cupboards that we really needed and the outstanding work continued. Thank you to Andrew for his advice and quick comunication, George for his methodical work, advice, patience and energy and also Brad who quietly works behind the scene dropping off materials and picking up the rubbish. This is a highly professional company. Justin, the owner, came out and he has the vision to help people like me who are just not sure what works. I had a wishlist which were all met , i.e LED light strip, microwave up higher etc. DDK work closely with plumbers, electrician, stonetop people and splashback people that they trust for quality and service. Thrilled I didn't have to go looking for tradies to finalise my job. I was given estimates from Justin for these tradies and was within prices so I was within budget. No hidden costs! Justin knows his craft. All tradies know each other, which I found very comforting as a customer. And they all work so well together. You will love their showroom too! No pressure sell rubbish. I am proud to recommend the DDK team, knowing you will be stoked with the design, quality ,workmanship and service !

My wife and I used dream doors and kitchens to facilitate the renovation of our investment property. We were located in Sidney and they facilitated everything with our managing agency. The finished product was fantastic. Cannot recommend them highly enough. They were helpful and insured. All the trades went smoothly and most importantly we’re economical.. Accepted quote and went in and chose colours and handles etc.
Had the check measure, and was then advised I needed to pick my handles (which I had already done).
Next the sign off sheet came through which I had queries on with missing items, had them all added on and in the process they deducted 2 handles off for no reason. It took 3 days, multiple emails, calls and texts to get the order changed back to how it was at the start.
I then received the 3rd instalment invoice and they've jacked up the price on me. They turned around and said it was because I changed the number of handles. No, this company incorrectly changed the number of handles and then charged me to change them back to the original number.
Then install came around and 4 doors have been measured the wrong size and 2 are damaged and they need a 3rd install day. Third install they install the incorrectly cut doors with just screws and no hinges, and the completely wrong coloured handles.
They turned up 6 hours late to change the handles over, a 10 minute job, knowing I don't live at the property and had to sit around and wait.
2 weeks on and house is going on the market and they are not responding with a rectification date despite multiple texts, emails, phone calls.
Texted the owner Tracey on 13th, 14th & twice on 22nd April (and called) and not once has she had the decency to respond to me.
Edit: Tracey had the decency to respond after this review was left albeit with some abusive messages and threats to further delay. Demanded I pay in advance for the balance even when one of the doors wasn't ready. Had to pay cash to the installer who didn't have change and despite twice asking for a refund have not been forthcoming, small money but just principal of the matter. They still haven't been forthcoming in providing a warranty either. I've been told in no uncertain terms not to chase them for things as they do things when they feel like it, so we will see if it ever comes.
Lastly, the final door, the plastic it came in was just dumped on the front lawn and the door installed was the dirtiest door you have even seen, took 3 goes to clean it. Just a petty woman in charge and it became clear the staff are just doing as told, glad to be out the other side of it albeit minus the warranty.

From the outset, we prioritised your project and committed to a challenging four-week turnaround time specifically because you were selling the property and needed the work completed before photographs. We worked diligently to keep you fully informed throughout this expedited process, as our records show.
You stated that we removed handles, added them back, and then increased the price. An issue arose between our accounting system and the paperwork you signed, resulting in a difference between the number of handles sold and the actual number of handles to be supplied. The difference was $29.50. The initial invoice was sent to you in the morning, rectified the same day and resent mid afternoon.
Regarding the materials: there was an initial measurement mistake on a couple of doors due to a supplier error. This was rectified by the following week; however, the replacement doors arrived damaged by the freight company—an issue that unfortunately affected multiple clients and required an immediate re-order. Similarly, our supplier delivered the handles in the wrong colour, though this was rectified by the following day. These were unexpected circumstances and not mistakes made by our local team.
The delay the following day regarding the handles resulted from a misunderstanding about your availability. We were under the impression you would be at the property all day, as indicated via phone calls and texts, to facilitate the necessary changes.
We understand the pressure to complete the kitchen led to expectations for immediate responses. While we always strive for excellence, circumstances like transit damage and supplier errors are outside of our immediate control. Additionally, you stated that the owner never responded to you; our records show numerous responses throughout the process.
Occasionally things can go wrong, but we ensured all issues were resolved and completed in time for your photographs. We wish you all the best with your sale.

Many thanks to Dream Doors Melbourne South East for our amazing kitchen upgrade. Renovated 20 years ago, it was tired with areas of peeling vinyl wrap. Dream Doors came up with a plan to totally rejuvenate it. New light oak cupboard doors, and a superb custom-built cabinet for my pots and pans. It looks fantastic, all for a cost well below that of a full renovation. Managing Director Andrew Hooper, has innovative ideas, is personable, and heads a terrific team.
Brad and George were always on time, so polite and helpful. Example, on their last day, Brad went out of his way to pick up some timber so George could fit a new skirting to complete the upgrade. It was outside the brief. George crafted a fabulous skirting to replace the old which looked shabby. He was insistent on completing the job to the last detail of perfection. I commend the guys for their politeness, helpfulness and dedication.
Andrew and his team are delightful, and I recommend them one hundred per cent.
