I was diagnosed with Sigmoidal colon cancer during colonoscopy and subsequent CT scan of Abdomen and Pelvis.
I had no knowledge of cancer surgeon. My doctor doing colonoscopy referred me to Dr. Aditya Kulkarni. I visited him at 'Oasis' I asked several questions related to surgery. He answered them patiently and truthfully to my satisfaction. Based on my queries, he suggested surgery for removal of tumer, at Ruby hall clinic Bundgarden and Robotic surgery explaining me benefits to the patient and the surgeon. He also said it costs Rs 1.5 more. I underwent surgery. I spent 6 days at the hospital. Not once I felt feverish either during the hospital stay or subsequently, now it is one month after surgery. This indicates that the operation is performed with precision and utmost care. He used to visit me during the hospital stay almost every day. His team of Assistants used to visit every few hours inquiring whether I had any problem and used to take instant action to remove the problem related to health. It was a total satisfaction experience. After I was discharged, I used to send him queries on WhatsApp chat. He used to reply them promptly within a reasonable to my total satisfaction.
On my asking, he referred me to an Oncologist for Chemo therapy. I had my first sitting yesterday for Chemo. The Oncologist and the hospital are both excellent and very prompt in resolving my queries.
I would highly recommend Dr Aditya Kulkarni for any surgery related to the cancer of Gastric organs. One can place himself / herself in the hands of Dr. Aditya Kulkarni for the best possible outcome of the surgery.
