I wish I could give zero stars. Please do your research before going here. The office is filthy, the staff are rude and childish, And the doctor does not care about your situation. I went in with a referral from my orthopedic surgeon for spinal stenosis in my neck.
They never even looked at my MRI, he never asked me how I was feeling or what was going on, he just gave me some drugs that they think they give for depression. When I was finished and did the outtake because they were gonna do a steroid shot, the staff were disorderly, couldn’t find my stuff, and two of the staff were laughing and making fun of someone’s urine in the hallway about how bad it smelled. Completely inappropriate.
The minute I left, I knew that I was not going back, and I knew that I was not letting this man touch my spine in any way. I immediately called back the next day and canceled any future appointments with them, to which I got a phone call back from someone in their office, wanting to know why I canceled and what the problem was, which I thought was also very inappropriate.
I’m gonna help you out for everyone that deals with chronic pain, go see Dr. Kenneth Choi in Denison. I would like to add that they billed my insurance over $600 and I have to pay over $400 for this office visit where he did nothing for me, he also marked my chart that I had behavioral issues and why he gave me the Lyrica. I was not there for behavioral issues, I was referred there with spinal stenosis. This doctor is a liar and a scam artist and simply wants money. The staff are thee worst. Do not let them touch your spine or handle your pain.
I'm always able to get an appointment scheduled on the day and time I need. Scheduling and front office staff are friendly with my personality. I appreciate the skill and confidence of Dr. Vattam. Brandy my nurse practioner, is awesome. She is patient and understanding of my medical condition and concerns. I also appreciate her knowledge and how she looks out for me. The procedures I have done on my spine are lifesavers and I'm thankful they work. They keep me mobile and working. They ease the extreme pain I suffer with and help me stay a positive member of society.
So far, so good. I've been going through this for several years and now hopefully I won't for much longer. The office staff and nurses are great. I don't feel judged or looked down on. The doctors looked at other options than just pills. They are giving me some hope. I would definitely recommend.
