Paul and Eric were both professional and personable. Very friendly. We had a group of four, two of which were women. They mentioned they were more comfortable with Paul and Eric than amy other guides we have fished with previously. They were also both a wealth of knowledge for local fishing areas we could explore on our own as well as local businesses to visit for dining and such. Heck, I think we may even met some new friends.
We would highly recommend them and look forward to our next visit with them.

We had an amazing experience with Paul and Eric Douglas! They were incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and they made sure everyone in our family felt comfortable and included the entire trip. They were patient, kind, and so much fun to be around, which made the day even more enjoyable.
We caught several red snapper, vermilion snapper, trigger fish, and even an amberjack—an unforgettable experience! On top of the great fishing, we saw lots of dolphins and even some man-o-war, which was exciting for the kids.

It was my first time for all 4 of us , my son and two grandsons on a 24 footer boat so far out in the ocean. Captain Douglass and his son made us very comfortable on our way out, while we were out there and on our way back.
They are a very professional and knowledgeable team. I have never caught so many fish in one day much less four hours. We all had a blast.

We had absolute blast fishing today! Paul and Eric are great. Party of three and there was a fish on every time we dropped our lines. Brought us to plenty of fishing locations that had various species. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! Would highly recommend Double D Fishing Charters for anyone looking to catch fish and have great conversations about the local area and history.

Weather wasn’t in our favor but they worked with our vacation and we were able to get out still on the best possible day we were there. It still rained but the fishing was amazing. Best charter any of us have ever been on and will definitely be booking again. Both Captains were amazing and super knowledgeable

I know you guys are good with the cold and ice fishing and were probably chuckling a bit at Eric and I all bundled up. Cold or warm, Florida fishing can be fantastic and even though we drizzled much of the morning, you guys found the fish and put them in the boat. We love the wintertime for fishing here and based on the smiles I see in the pics, it was agreeable for you guys too. We were fortunate to find Double D for our fishing experience while in Pensacola. They provided everything we needed! Our trip out in the gulf was a little bumpy but they gave us some jackets ro wear to keep us comfy. There were many fish species hooked and released due to size and season, but it was fun catching them plus we learned about air bladders and Florida rules and regulations. We went home with 2 Grey triggerfish that Eric and Paul filleted and skinned perfectly. The pictures attached are 2 meals we enjoyed. Fish and eggs for breakfast and fish with a lemon beurre blanc topped with fried capers served on a bed of sautéed spinach with sweet potato cubes. We also caught and released 3 large amber jacks! It was a fabulous day spent on the water with the father and son team!!! You won't go wrong booking with Double D Charters!!!

Excellent charter fishing experience! We booked a 4 hour experience for me, my husband, and our 8 year old daughter. They were courteous, very knowledgeable, and accommodating. They did a great job at helping our daughter catch fish so she had a great time.
We even stopped to see the Blue Angels practicing on our way back into the dock. Great time!

These guys are great! I have booked many charters with my family and I have had varying experiences, but these guys were tops across the board.
Communication, Preparation, Equipment, Methodology, Attentiveness, Safety... All of it was beyond anything we have experienced and that added up to a great day on the water with a lot of success!
Take advantage of their off-shore option and you likely won't be disappointed. Will book again any time we are in the area!

Fished for 6 hours with Eric and Paul for my sisters birthday, it was a great time and we caught a ton of fish. Would highly recommend these guys, they are locked into the producing fishing spots and the action was pretty much non-stop the entire half day trip.

Above and Beyond: A Memorable Day with Double D Fishing Charter
We went on a trip with Double D Fishing Charter, and despite the rainy weather, the captain made sure we still had a great experience. He adjusted our sail time to work around the rain and even stayed out past the allotted time since the first two spots didn’t produce keepers. Eric and Paul were fantastic—when I lost my grip on the reel, they jumped right in to help, and they made sure everyone on board felt comfortable. Don’t be afraid to ask for a hand—some of these fish put up a serious fight! They also went the extra mile by providing rain jackets, which helped us a lot in the weather, and at the end of the trip, they cleaned and filleted the fish for us to take home. Overall, a great experience with a hardworking and friendly crew. Highly recommend Double D Fishing Charter if you’re looking for a charter that goes above and beyond to make sure you have a memorable day on the water.
