Christian K-9 Academy transformed my 6 year old German Shepherd into a completely different dog! Enzo was showing signs of reactivity due to some environmental factors and insecurities within himself, causing his temperament to change. After bringing him in for a consultation, I felt relieved knowing that his new behavioral patterns are a very common situation Christian K-9 Academy works with, and they walked me through registering him for the program that suited him the best with overcoming the issues I needed assistance with. Your dogs WILL be in great hands while they are boarded here! I received constant updates about Enzos training, and immediate responses if I had questions about his stay. They were also quick to give Enzo medical aid and treatment when it was discovered he had an irritated spot on one of his legs. The connection I saw between Enzo and his trainer throughout Enzos stay solidified that taking him to Christian K-9 Academy was the best choice I could've made for him. The patience and passion each of the trainers show when it comes to dog training is one of a kind, it's truly unmatched. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable, caring, professional and kind, they're simply wonderful at what they do. Your dogs safety and wellbeing is their #1 priority. They also ensure that you, the owner, are properly equipped to continue the lessons your dog learns while they were in training. Enzo and I left both with new confidence, new skills, and a new trust in each other. I highly recommend Christian K-9 Academy, from puppy training to extreme reactivity and behavioral issues, they do a phenomenal job at teaching any dog at any age new tricks. I truly cannot put into words how happy I am with the results of the training, and knowing if I have any issues at all moving forward, Christian K-9 Academy will be there to help Enzo and myself get back on track. We honestly weren’t sure if our wild dog could be fixed, but Dean and Mitchell are miracle workers!! We did a 20 day board and train program and at the end of the 20 days we received a whole new (well-mannered and calm) dog! We are now focusing on maintaining and building off of the solid groundwork they have laid. We can’t recommend them enough!

I was having training issues with my Dutch Shepherd pup. I needed her to be more receptive to commands and for her not to hesitate. A few people recommended Christian K9. They deal with all types of dogs and what drew me was their experience with high level working dogs and Shepherds. I had a consultation with Mitch, the owner and I decided to do the board and train. My main contact was Dean who is a trainer. He would text me and send videos three times a week to show me her progress. I liked that a lot. It helped me feel more comfortable watching her in the videos. After her training Dean showed me how to continue the training when I got her back home. I’m glad that I got help from Christian K9. I would definitely recommend them.

Picked the boy up from camp today. Cannot speak highly enough about the staff at Christian K-9 Academy. He was freshly bathed, groomed and full of energy. Mitchell Christian walked out with his wife Zuzana Christian with nothing but love to take home. Warm Apple Pie, Quiche and fresh eggs from their estate chickens. Arlo’s trainer, Dean Harris, even ran out for a goodbye before we left. They have it all down pat and doing it right. We sent our dog Bane away for 20 days and the transformation is honestly unbelievable. Walks used to be stressful and all over the place, but now he stays right with us and actually makes them enjoyable. You can tell how much time, patience, and care went into his training. Bane is more confident, focused, and well-behaved while still being his happy goofy self. The communication and updates throughout the process were amazing too, which made us feel so comfortable leaving him there. If you’re thinking about training for your dog, do it. This was worth every penny and exceeded every expectation we had. Could not recommend them more — truly a 10/10 experience.

We were really struggling with our dog at home, and really loosing hope that his aggressive behaviors towards other dogs in the home would improve, but after finding Christian K9 everything changed for us. They changed our lives and helped create this fully trained, well mannered, and well focused doodle we never thought we would have! I’m so thankful for all they have done as without them this wouldn’t have been possible. They put up with my million questions and concerns no matter the time of day. I learned so many things as a dog mom just by listening to them talk and explain things. If you need any help with your dog i’d go to them 10000x over again!

The Christian K-9 Academy team gave us the dog we always dreamed of! We enrolled our spirited Lagotto Romagnolo in the 20-day board-and-train program expecting better leash manners, but the results went far beyond that. No more nipping, jumping, anxiety, accidents, or stubborn behavior. Now we can enjoy off-leash walks, peaceful meals with our dog calmly on his mat, and even long baseball games with him relaxed under our chairs. We finally feel confident taking him out in public and on the trail. We’re beyond grateful to this amazing team for their excellent customer service, beautiful facility, and world-class dog training!

I would give 100 stars if I could. My nine year-old terrier was a terror and bundle of nerves. I was worried about sending him a way to Christian K9 Academy because I thought he would not be able to handle the stress. But, what I got back after the 20 day program was a much calmer and more confident dog. The things that used to cause him severe anxiety and reactivity are now actually enjoyable: going out in public, meeting new people, crossing paths with other dogs, and even having new people over to our house. Initially, I thought I was being selfish for sending him away for training, but if I had any idea how much it would have improved his daily life, I would have done it much sooner. Dean was very understanding and patient, and he worked wonders with this dog! While it is great to have random people regularly complimenting me on his behavior and training, what matters most is his own well-being, and that is why I sincerely appreciate and recommend Christian K9 academy.

Our dog went to Christian K9 without manners. She jumped on people, chased other dogs, pulled on the leash. She came home with none of those issues! We have walked daily! She needs it after working every day during her stay. She doesn’t pull, but she will heel and run/walk with us! She is still her loving self, she just has manners! It is amazing! Thank you so much for filling her with love and empowering her to be amazing!

We had a wonderful experience with our puppy, Moose. He was with the team for two weeks (and over our spring break vacation so it was a win win for us!) and we loved getting our video updates from Dean. Prior to his training Moose (our 8m old labradoodle) was super naughty and stubborn. He loved to steal socks and rolls of toilet paper and it took two people to catch him. Now, we say “drop it” and it’s out of his mouth. He comes, heals on walks, sits (with an implied stay until release) goes to his bed when asked, and responds much better to the word “no”. Such a huge change in just 2 weeks! Additionally, since Moose is a doodle I expected him to need a bath and good grooming after pick up but he was bathed and smelled great. We would recommend Mitch and his training team to anyone!

Mitch is hands down the best dog trainer I have ever seen or worked with. 1 session in and my dog acts completely different already. I will continue to book sessions until I feel my dog is at the obedience level, I would like him to be at on and off leash. Worth every penny!!

Had an incredible experience. My 1 year old pup did the 20 day board and train. Such an amazing investment. The team was incredibly communicative; sent videos of his progress, let me know how he was doing, etc. although being away from my dog was difficult, it was clearly worth it. Both of our quality of lives had gotten much better. Letting him outside, going on walks, having people over, all things that use to be incredibly anxious for both of us he has navigated with ease.

This is an AMAZING place to take your pup of any age for training! They loved and cared for our dog and really formed a bond with them. They made sure to ask exactly what we were looking for in the training and tailored it specifically to the manners we wanted. Teaching us how to continue the training at home and feeling exactly how our dog feels when using the equipment. Highly recommend them for any training your dog may need with such great people!

We sent our 3 fairly reactive australian shepherds for the 20 day board & train and our only regret is not sending them sooner! Dean was our main point of contact throughout their training, sending us photos and videos several times a week, providing updates on their progress. We were always so excited to receive the videos to see how well they were doing with their training! While there, they worked on their reactivity to dogs and people, leash pulling, and separation anxiety. Upon pickup, Dean spent time with us to explain and walk us through all the things they had worked on to set us up for the best success once we got the dogs home. He has also been so helpful since we’ve been home with them— we’ve been able to ask follow up questions and get advice on how to best implement their training at home (since they are stubborn dogs). We’ve only had them home for a few days but they are doing so well being back in their own environment. We seriously cannot recommend Christian K9 and the staff enough! You will be so happy you sent your pups to them!
