Here for a bit of a ‘do’. The function room was as you would expect from this kind of club. Neat and tidy and well decorated for the event but I don’t know if that was down to our hosts or the venue. Bar prices were amazing. It needs a bit of spit and polish but then isn’t that part of the charm of these old clubs? The staff were lovely and I really liked the book swap near the entrance.
