After a major mishap on Day 1 left me uneasy, DLV addressed the issue head on and exceeded my expectations throughout the rest of the project.
You can really tell the integrity of a company by how they respond when issues occur, and I was impressed by DLV.
Good communication, good PMs (Paul, Nate) good product. Especially impressed with their cleanup: no trash, no nails, no pieces of shingles left behind.
I hired DLV Roofing Dallas, LLC to repair a persistent leak over a small area of my entryway—the metal roof over a 4x4 foot section that is separate from the main roof. Despite clear communication about the specific leak, the company ended up focusing on other potential issues, changing all the screws to larger rubber ones and sealing a few spots. All of this was done during the dry season, so I had to wait until the first rain to see any results.
Unfortunately, when it finally rained, the roof leaked at exactly the same spot as my original complaint. DLV sent someone out again to reseal more areas. Still, after a few months and another heavy rain, the leak returned in the very same spot. Over two years, I have paid nearly $9,000 for repeated visits to address this 4x4 area, but the fundamental problem remains unsolved.
It feels like seeing a doctor for an eye problem and having your leg treated while your vision remains unchanged. To make matters worse, DLV Roofing has stopped responding to my emails and texts altogether. The roof leak for which I initially contacted them still persists, with no resolution or ongoing support. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience—two years, multiple visits, and a significant financial investment later, I am left with the same issue I started with and no answers from the business.

I can not say enough good things about my experience with DLV Roofing! From the initial meeting with Tim and Paul to inspect my roof, helping me select the shingle color, explaining the entire process and the timeline. Every step was done as scheduled, on time and in a very friendly yet professional way. Either Tim, Paul or John were on site for the majority of the project and the crew were wonderful. The roof was done in little over a day and everything was cleaned up and you would never know they were there (except for my beautiful new roof). I needed to get paperwork and Abby in the office was also so friendly and efficient. The last time I had a roof put on was a nightmare and I dreaded having this job done. But DLV made it so easy! Called DLV Roofing to set up an appointment to come for an estimate. Brian showed up on time, was very friendly. He went out, measured and took some pictures and said he was completed baffled by what he saw.
Brian said he would go back and speak with his boss who had much more experience an told me he’d get back to me by Monday, then it was maybe Tuesday, then it was “I should be able to get something to you by Monday”
It is now the following Sunday and I still have not received a call, text or email with any kind of explanation.
So, I am now also done with DLV and Lane Roofing!!!
